I got my vehicle inspected once by the Squadron Duty Officer (USMC) and he said he was surprised my vehicle was squared away with how F’ed up I was. I said “Thank you, Sir”
In NZ Army, vehicles were used to store sh*t from our rooms that we didn't want seen during barrack inspections. If you didn't have a car, then you would store crap in your buddies car. Nothing like a nice minimalist room for barrack inspections 😂

Do not serve at all, however been on bases a few time because im a trained and certified mechanic, was helping an army mechanic do work to his own vehicle and somehow got sucked into working on a hmmwv. TLDR. Didnt come back after i found out the transmission was absouloutly trashed from someone doing burnouts and neutral drops. That was 3 years ago and as far as i know he was punished by doing tire remounting for 6 months.
