The campaign is off to a GREAT start Outro by Ross Bugden Music • ♩♫ Happy and Inspirati... Join my discord server! / discord Follow me on Twitter / unicco_1 #CriticalRole #DungeonsandDragons #Campaign3
Robbie's futile attempts to try to calm himself from laughing while laughing hysterically will always be my favorite quirk he has. His face is priceless.
@@lazydk2654 He was as prepared as a person could possibly be, after playing with Aimee for EXU, but it's impossible to be ready for the true agent of chaos.
Marisha was RIGHT in the blast radius of Sam's FCG name origin, so she got hit immediately, and then we can see the effects of Sam's joke slowly spread to the rest of the table. Lmao
he looooooves naming conventions so it would not surprise me in the LEAST. i'm spending tonight scrambling the letters jic there's a hidden code though.
the sheer horror. the confusion. the disbelief. you could see the scarring happening in real time. every time he thinks his party members can't get more ridiculous they prove him wrong. God bless Sam.
I could tell when first watching this that Matt's face was a priceless reaction to Sam's name history..... and the idea that he had to make this canon for the future XD.
Matt´s reaction reads as follows: "How did it come to this? Do I really now have to create and voice a character named pussy in the hopefully not so near future?"
@@zeroone871 I think their would be a point when popular demand and players playing their cards right would lead to "Pussy". I mean remember the Smut library Caleb wantet to visit?
The Fearne, Dorian and Orym pickpocketing conversation "It's really easy to do here. That's what I took from that conversation." is the only favorite moment of mine missing - such a fun first episode back 😍🥰
When Dorian rolls a 1 and sulks back to Fryne only for her to try and hype him up is one of the funniest bits to me. I just love how she tries to be helpful while completely failing to read the room
Laura's faces in the second clip were priceless. The first while she's listening to Travis imagining him as the silver fox she's knows he's gonna be, and then the look when Sam pulls out his "flask" like she's just done, but then like "That's actually pretty cool."
They probably have a lot of creative freedom for their characters even from Matt, exactly for things like this. They know that these surprises are the best, so they allow it. And Sam is the best ever when it comes to improvising absurd things like this. The only who knew was apparently Taliesin.
One day down the line, they're gonna find an old Aeorian place. There, they'll find a tiny Aeormaton similar to FCG. And in a slight southern drawl, Matthew Mercer will have to say, "Hey y'all. I'm Pussy. Nice to meet ya!"
I don't know which I loved more: Marisha absolutely losing it over Sam, or Robbie trying desperately but ultimately losing it as well. Something tells me I'll really enjoy their side this campaign.
@@Telrob I mean, 3 episodes is more than 2, or 1. :p I'll take what I can get. (And heck, he may still be a part of one-shots.) It's not like it wasn't fairly obvious he was gonna go out with a bang seeing how he was playing, tbf. Spending gold left and right, being kind of a dick in the Eshteross encounter, etc.
I don't trust Travis. I'm thinking he's got something else going on other than just Bertrand Bell. I mean, how can a 70 - 80 year old man advance in an adventure when he can't even stay awake past 7:30? I mean look what he did with Fjord. Its why I love the man.
@@4rtiphi5hal19 I have a serious feeling that he's a werewolf. Two reasons: 1. Bertrand Bell claims to have slain the whispering werewolf of the North. What if it bit him, and hebis cursed? 2. Travis loves werewolves.
Next campaign, Sam will play as a Fairy. Height: 2’4”. Class: Fighter. Subclass: Rune Knight. At level 3, he will grow to 11’ twice a day. At level 5, he will grow to 22’ tall once a day. At level 18, he will grow to 22’ 5 times a day, and 44’ tall once a day. And he will have a set of flower-shaped cups, _for each size._
I loved the first episode so much. Also, Robbie fits in so well that I at certain points legit forgot that he wasn't part of the main cast. I hope he stays a while.
Yeah same, personally didnt like that much on EXU but robbie was such a gem, and now seeing his chemistry with the cast is great. If they wanted to add a eight member, robbie would be one I would not be against.
I recalled somebody said a condolences to Laura during one of Travis acting old anticsm, something along the line of "This is your awaiting future." XD Didn't quite catch who it was though.
Robbie's tavern performance was one of my favorite bits. It was just so perfectly detailed and acted out. I honestly would love it if he stayed for the whole campaign
0:00 The origin of Fresh Cut Grass's name 1:25 Sam's new drinking jug breaks Matt 2:28 "Critical Role [does not] endorse knife-f*cking!" "NO!!" 3:30 Bertrand painfully regrets offering to pay for inn rooms 4:37 How Ashton and F.C.G feel about their new group 5:43 Robbie rolls a nat 1 on Dorian's musical performance 7:32 Orym wakes up a very old and confused Bertrand and tries to ask him a question, Bertrand proceeds to fall back asleep.
All hail Lord Nico, emissary of highlights Keeper of ther Tome of HYWDT. All hail Lord Flando, Master of the Time(stamps) Patriarch of the heart of Luxon
Thanks to your closeups, the F.C.G. & Ashton interaction “I trust you,” “You would have no reason not to,” “Nope definitely not” comes off in a new way. Taliesin’s eyebrows are telling quite a story… I just wish I knew what it was! My suspicion’s about F.C.G.’s time in “stasis” continue to grow, but how was Ashton involved?
I think they are staggering the character intros, which is fine. Everyone will get their time to settle in as their new characters individually and it avoids the awkward classic “we all conveniently met in a pub” trope. They can all meet in different, unique ways.
Someone else said it in a response to a comment here but im gonna write it down too to look back in 50 episodes: FCG will not just be Fresh Cut Grass with the smell jokes: he has amnesia and is just making stuff up that will lighten up the rest (cause shrink vibes) See you in 50 eps when this either rings true or not, but Sam is definatelly gonna make us cry over this stupid robit xD
The hardest I've ever laughed at CR (and I've laughed pretty hard before) was at that Bertrand Bell bit. Rewatched it three times, loosing my shit each time. Absolutely hysterical.
When the title said "in CR history" I thought it would be across all campaigns and one-shots lol. Also calling it right now: Imogen and Laudna are going to fall in love with each other if they aren't already.
That episode was so funny, I loved it. As usual Sam is a comedic genius. I'm looking forward to rewatching it again when it's up on yt! Thank you for the highlights you do. They're great!
