I’ll use my mom for example: She’s both a mother, A sister, And a daughter. But she’s still one person. The same God (Yahweh) but different roles. Plus he’s omnipresent, which just means he is everywhere at once- and he has all the power to even create the universe. So I know it’s hard to wrap our minds around it because our minds aren’t made to think infinitely and God is outside of time 😅 But he just is whether we understand it or not- like me and chemistry 😅 I know it all exists and works out great but idk HOW it does that lol Hope this helps 🤗

F.e. everyone should honor the Son in the same way they honor the Father (which int this case means worship as "the Father" is God): "that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him." John 5:23 NKJV Furthermore Jesus does something that ONLY God can do: Forgive sins. "Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”" Matthew 9:2 NKJV These are just two reasons, why Christians believe Jesus to be God. But at the same time, Jesus the Son of God is not the God Father; they are separate Persons: "Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and WE will come to him and make OUR home with him." John 14:23 NKJV "You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I." John 14:28 NKJV (Personally I think "greater" in this context means that God the Father has a higher status or more power at this moment, because Jesus is in human form right now and through that somewhat limited, while God the Father is in heaven with unlimitedness. That's another topic for thorough investigation. Anyhow:) If both aspects are true, Jesus having Godly qualities and yet not being God the Father, while the whole Bible from beginning to end says, that there is only one God, then this means that the Father and the Son both are the same God, but not the same person. Now add the Holy Spirit to this combination and that's what's called the Trinity. One God, three different persons. Maybe this will help? Jesus is not God’s Son in the sense of a human father and a son. God did not get married and have a son. Jesus is God’s Son in the sense that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1, 14). Jesus is God's Son in that He was conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit. To be the Son of God is to be of the same nature as God. The Son of God is “of God”, so the Son of God is God.
