As an INFP what makes socializing even harder is that my voice is naturally really quiet and gets even quieter when I'm placed in social situations, so I have to deal with people not hearing me and thinking that I'm being rude because they assume that I didn't respond to them :,)

INFP here: I biked past a dead mouse yesterday and turned back around 6 meters to have a funeral for them. By myself. I genuinely blew the mouse a kiss and buried them in fresh leaves. Not dead ones, I thought that would be disrespectful. I got ice cream after.

I gave a mini funeral to a mouse that we caught in my house. When we found him he looked a bad way and we put him outside because he kept getting into the walls. I found him the next morning he had passed away in the flower bed and I just broke down and gave him his funeral.

Oh my god same! 🤣🤣 I literally sometimes when I can't sleep I'll start imagining myself being a celebrity or being in great relationship (which is part of the trait of INFP having high standards) or whenever I watch a video or a movie I imagine me talking to my imaginary fans at non existent camera 😂🤣 now that I think about it, it's pretty sad but we INFPs enjoy imagining a lot.

@Vaaletts One week ago, I actually got sad and cried after I realised I kept on imagining too much times in my life in another fantasy. Then I searched up how do I stop daydreaming then I found out about Maladaptive dreaming and it was an illness. Then I got more even sadder. But then I kept on remembering my reality and it wasn't that bad. I have a good family, good neighbor hood, good friends etc. 😊 So, yes it could be but Maladaptive dreaming is literally every single time you do something, like you could just be walking and you start daydreaming and start walking back and fourth. But I never do that.

I painted a quote on the wall of my room which was "Stop saying tomorrow" so that I wouldn't procrastinate. I got so inspired with it that instead of saying I will do it tomorrow, I now say I will do it the day after tomorrow. Edit - should've mentioned it would be two years in next Jan to the say I started the painting. It's still not completed. I'm a hopeless procrastinator.

I laughed so hard at the doctor's office one, because that actually happened to me once (not a 5 days wait, but a whole afternoon). I was just sitting there, daydreaming and watching other patients arriving and being attended before me. I noticed the delay, but it was crowded and I was afraid to bother the staff unnecessarily or to cause confusion with other patients, so I just assumed the wait had a good reason. Then when it was getting dark and I was alone in the waiting room, I finally had the courage to stand up and ask the doctor about it. Turns out his table was quite messy and my appointment record got hidden under some other papers. He read the time I arrived and he was like "why didn't you say so before?!". I felt so stupid :(

The most INFP thing that happens to me is I will get scared to do a simple thing, like throw away a candy wrapper because i'm scared people will judge the candy I eat. As an infp I really related to this. Especially the "I just walked past security and they didn't notice" and the crime & punishment bit with the highschool teacher. I also did a presentation at work a couple weeks ago to a large group and at the end of the board room I heard loud snoring within minutes of presenting... Someone literally passed out while I was speaking, I was devastated.

I'm an INFP in a relationship with an INFJ. Before we even went on our first date, we were talking about the possibility of marriage and kids. By the second date, we both had to fight the urge not to say "I love you" (we both knew it was there). We've been together for two years and I'm so happy with him. He's never been scared of my intensity. EDIT: All this time, I was wrong. I’m actually ENFP. Oh, and we’ve been married since 2022, and we’re trying for a baby. Life is so good.

I live in a mountain town so it's normal to see deer close to my house. I went for a walk yesterday and there was a deer outside. We looked at each other and the very first thing that I said after "Oh shit, a deer!" was "I wonder if I can get close enough to pet him." I decided not to, didn't want to risk being maimed, and gave him his space and then went on my way.

Haha, I feel the invisibility thing. When we had a school trip and it was over, me and some of my classmates walked to the train station together. While they were chatting I simply walked next to them and listened. We got on the train, they sat down and there was no seat for me left so I remained standing, no big deal. It wasn't until one classmate got of the train and I sat down that they noticed me and said "Oh hey, where did you come from? Didn't notice you were there." And I was just like "We were walking together for half an hour and got on the train together and you didn't notice me until now?! Damn, I'm invisible." That was so weird for me, I thought they knew I was there the whole time! I knew I was more on the invisible side, but damn, I sure didn't know I was THAT invisible.

I was serving at a till and I saw a father and daughter waiting in the queue. The father showed affection (words or a gesture, or just the whole interaction) that conveyed love and pride and the emotions welled up inside me and I could barely compose myself. In an INFP fashion I managed to appear like nothing memorable or of any significance just took place. (I'll remember this forever)

I literally alwaya feel like someone is watching me. Every little thing I do. And the pressure from that makes me abxious so that I really wait until "the coast is clear" to even attempt it. And I don't kbow about anyone else but I really have problems pooping in public places. And it seems my stomach always makes me have to when I leave for the grocery store. And that kind of feeling that everyone is going to be watching me go in and come out makes me super anxious. Even though I know everyone does it. Especially if people are in the bathroom at the time. I mean it is probably just a normal feeling for people but man. My poopscapades are legendary due to anxiety and embarrassment of having to take shit out in public. Is this and INFP thing or is it just me? I know it's a hilarious subject but I am absolutely perplexed by the difficulty I go through just because I have an irrational fear of people making fun of me or not liking me because I took a shit. Haha. In all serious though. I'm very curious to know if any other INFP's experiences this? Or is it actually more common for someone to feel that way.

I miss my enfp😢 My son Timmy. He was one of my very best friends. He understood me better than everyone but my daughter (infj). He was extremely funny, fun to be around. Both his intelligence and emotional intelligence were off the charts. He loved me, accepted me, defended me, even counseled me. He was wise beyond his years. He started getting colder and colder. Further and further away from everyone, including me. He recently told me (on his 18th birthday) that He didn't love God anymore and that he'd given his heart to Aphrodite. I didn't even know you could do that. Who...? Apparently the goddess of love, who has taught my son to do anything but. I ran across some old pictures on my phone of us together last week. It crushed me. He was always in my arms or had his arms wrapped around me. Smiling, making goofy faces, or having some soft, dreamy look in his eyes. Same with him and my daughter. They were best friends too. Now he barely wants anything to do with me. Not just me, I know, but with the very special connection we once had, and the fact that I literally carried him inside me, it hurts deeply. I miss my baby boy so much. I always see so much love in these comments from enfp's to infp's, and it reminds me of when mine loved me too😢😔💔 You have a beautiful and very kind heart. Thank you for all of your lovely words. Thank you. That was very sweet, and it is true. We're like the closest thing to a lovable dog in human form. Hahaha ❤ INFP here. My brother is an ENFP. Me IP/EP. Him? EP/IP. I've always appreciated his light, bubbly, positive energy. Many times he's gently called me out and pulled me out of my introverted rabbit holes or being too serious and overthinking. He helps me call it out and move on with his typical extraverted way. He's also a 7 on the Enneagram, the enthusiast, with lots of excitement and ideas. I appreciate him a lot. I have been watching your INFJ videos for years. I typed as an INFJ in highschool in a psychology class. I remember I came out pretty in the middle with N/S, F/T, and J/P on the test. I took an online test years ago and came out INFJ again. I took it again a few nights ago (I'm 35) and came out INFP. While I related to INFJ content...some if it felt more "like I used to be" then how I currently am. On my current test results, I was 90% I, 70%N, pretty close balance on F/T...and about 75% P. I think I have always wanted to be more J acting which may have influenced how I answered qs in the past. Now that I know myself better, I think I got accurate test results. I relate much better to INFP info/memes than INFJ.

This is so perfect! I think the most INFP moment I've had recently was a few years ago. I was meeting a new Therapist for the first time and I sat there for 2 1/2 hours past the point I was meant to meet her. She had forgotten about me! I just sat patiently waiting, worrying I had got the time wrong. When I finally caught her as she walked past me she apologised I was like "Oh it's ok don't worry about it it's perfectly fine, I don't mind at all", I was feeling like it was all my fault. I also cannot talk to anyone at all on a phone call. I'm locked out of my online banking because I can never remember the passwords. I'm too scared to call them to get it unlocked, it's been 5 months

@@cv8642 Absolutely. I don't know anyone more loyal than me and I'm not being conceited or anything by saying that. I don't think anyone has ever been as fiercely protective of me as I am of the ones I hold most dear and that's kinda sad, but I've accepted it. My sons are ENFP and INTP and they're probably the most protective of me but of course I've raised them so it probably isn't a coincidence they are both only one point off from being my type. I'm more towards the center of I/E 60/40 and my INTP son gets 49/51 or 51/49 on the F/T aspect so they're both close to INFP. There isn't anything I wouldn't do to protect them! Mama bear to the extreme. Sorry for the run on! It's the stuff I think about often. 💚🌸

THE DOCTORS OFFICE ONE IS LITERALLY SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TO ME YESTERDAY I SAT THERE FOR *10 HOURS* (literally from 10am to 8pm) BEFORE FINALLY GOING UP TO THE COUNTER BECAUSE THEY WERE STARTING TO CLOSE ANF THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK NEXT WEEK BC THEY HAD OVERLOOKED ME AND THOUGHT I LEFT

My life as an INFP at work: i get all the tea from my coworkers..😅 daily i'm sitting on my own work place and everybody comes and tell me about their issues or complains so i can listen to them, and sometimes a give them advices or try to cheer them up, i think is for being "the mediador" "therapist" 🤣 sorry for my Bad english

Honestly tho not many EXXX people will probably see these. People always talk about how only INXX people are commenting on his videos but thats like 90% of his audience. We are the people who are willing to watch a video talking about personality types by ourselves in our room alone with a pet while eating snacks just to see our type pop up. He knows and he is using it to his advantage...

i can relate to the deer one so much, I remember when I was like 7 years old and was in a ocean park thing or whatever it’s called and there was a dolphin in it’s big tank. I remember the dolphin and I made eye contact and I literally thought that I had a secret connection with the dolphin because of the 0.97 second eye contact lmao

@@soumyasaxena3519 Same! One time I had to wait to get an ultrasound (not pregnancy Lol) and they wanted me to drink tons of water before that appointment. My bladder was about to explode and I was actually starting to tear up at the pain, and my dad wanted me to ask them how much longer they'd be if that was really bothering me. I was like: "No, no I don't want to bother them! I'll give them another 5 minutes." (It was 30 minutes.)

Does anyone relate to going to a social gathering (maybe by force) and trying to join someone's conversation, only to be ignored? And then you try to repeat yourself, but you make your words trail off so no one realizes you were trying to speak to them, just so you could avoid the awkwardness?
