you aren’t supposed to use your personal biases to steer clients . as clients it’s important to do your due diligence , and ask your agent to provide data on any interested properties to help you

@@bangladeshirealtor I think many realtors are using their personal biased to steer clients. That's how they sell the property. They have to make everything sound good to steer them to give an offer. Some realtors will tell the client place a bid with no contingency. If you speak to many realtors you will know they are biased towards the selling of a property. That's why many clients never go back to the same realtor unless they are truly not biased but more care for the client. Some clients go back the same realtor for a reason. Some even leave the realtor and look for another realtor while at the middle of looking for a place. So it's really the realtor interest not to loose a client. Best for the realtor to have a good relationship with the client than only think of personal gain.

@@bangladeshirealtor and I think a client like to hear that the realtor is not only interested in trying to close a property.. sometimes clients appreciate a realtor if they are honest because if a client doesn't like the property and the realtor still wants to sell it then the relationship is not good. There are a lot of realtors now and it's difficult to sell in this high interest rate market so it's not worth loosing a client.

@@SimonCU if a client doesn’t like a property , we move onto the next one lol . we don’t try to sell them just one house , there are plenty to choose from in most cases . why would you lose a client by saying the house isn’t your cup of tea ?

Obviously you've never worked the hundreds of hours it takes to establish a real estate career, been on call 7 days a week, had a transaction you've worked day & night on for months for your clients just to have it fall thru the week of it's expected closing, studied many many hours to pass the Broker's exam (which is no easy tes)t, nor have you spent 12-14 hour days on your feet showing homes , negotiating deals and typing offers and following up with the Hundreds of legal paperwork involved in every single real estate transaction. Nor have you driven clients around showing them properties for weeks on end to help them find their "perfect" home. Not to mention seldom taking any vacations Ever, even at the holidays because when other's have time off of work (think every weekend as well!) as you are needed to be there with them. It's a never ending labor of love for our clients and the pride of just doing the best job we can for each and every buyer and seller we come into contact with. Not to mention we now have to be completely tech savvy and up on every real estate platform ! Plus we are self-employed and we only make the monies we generate---no weekly paycheck, no I just put in the hours with little effort cause I get a check no matter what! Hardly. We work for every penny we earn, the majority of us have college degrees and are educated in many areas of real estate including loans and finance (we have to know the details of our buyer's financing to make certain they will qualify to buy their dream home. So please I would never judge your job. Consider walking a mile in our shoes (or heels in my case!) before you judge us all to be overpaid idiots cause its Far from the truth. A good agent works very hard for their clients and whether a transaction closes or not, we are always here for them. So pls keep your judgements to yourself. It's very very unfair & completely not grounded in reality. Thank you!

The market was a sellers market at the end of 2019. It would take roughly a week and a half to get a house under contract where these days it’s a couple/few days. In other words, it’s not that much different. At least here in CT
