This is me right here buddy, this is what we do all the time. Awesome place you have there to go crawling super cool. Hope to see more of your early bronco I’ll be here watching for it
The Early Bronco is one of my favorite trail trucks. And it is super capable on the rocks! I added a Reefs Anti-sway bar, which significantly increased the traction and reduced that torque twist.
It’s a great spot for testing. It never changes so you can make a few changes to your truck and go back a wk or so later and hit the exact same line. I love this spot
I’ve only had it out the one time but absolutely love it! Really cool to hear you love yours after a year. I’ll definitely be posting more of it! Thanks for watching and the comments. Hope you have a great weekend ahead!
Yeah buddy my favorite trail rig, I got the teal color one my favorite Rig’s now I got it when it first came out the stock servo just went out over this past weekend. Only thing I have changed is switched the shocks down to 90 mm performs a lot better lemonades the torque twist mostly, oh and I put my wheels and tires on running KLR/M’s On my voodoo rims
Cant go wrong with reefs 500. Best servo ive ever used hands down. The 299 is great for bashing too I have one in my Tekno mt410. Ive been eyeing this new esc from Furitek. Teen wolf looks cool in the bronco
I'm sure the furitek is good. It's just hard to stand out with so many ppl already loyal to their favorite brands, along with the fact that the 1/10th market has several proven options already owned by many. It was a home run with the 24th scale stuff cuzz there wasn't and still isn't many other options . Plus we had 2fmrc reviewing that ish with much praise. 👍👍
I'm new to 10 scale so maybe I'm just ignorant, but I can't believe how loud it is. Part of the reason I went brushless in my SCX24 was to get rid of or at least minimize the wine of the motor. This setup is pretty loud still. I just picked up a this same bronco and was starting to look at brushless motors for it. I figured furiTek is #1 in 24s wanted to check out their 10 stuff
Yeah that’s just 1/10 metal gears. The motor and esc is pretty silent. I really like this setup but if you’re not really planning to go over a 3s battery definitely check out the Hobbywing Fusion as well. Great price, all in one motor/esc that can’t really be beat on smoothness. bit.ly/3VHs8sb
I've been stoked on Furitek coming to the 1/10 scale since I saw your first video on it Matt. However how do they think they can be in the game with a non waterproof system? That'd be a major let down. I'd stay with Hobby Wing for the price if they don't waterproof that ESC. I don't mind spending the money if the product is good. Waterproofing is absolutely important in 1/10 let alone crawling in general, at least for me here in Pennsylvania. Thanks again for the great information and review as always Matt. Keep up the great work brother. RUBBER SIDE DOWN
Great video man, much love from the end of it haha. The Bronco is awesome but loving the furitek system, I hope they make a waterproof vision! Im also curious about the outrunner motor, are you going to be testing that one as well?
Great video. Been thinking about one of these Broncos since they first debuted. Really like the old school Broncos, the new ones, not so much... Hope to see more details on this rig in future videos. In particular, I'm curious about the speed with this motor/ESC combo with the Axial two speed. I'm more interested in this one as more of a scale trail truck rather than strictly as a crawler.
You put you some voodoo KLR/M’s on there you’ll never take them off yes they are that good, I talked with the flubber stuffers at the great lakes gauntlet couple weeks ago you sure would have a blast there but he’s making the slime balls for the 1.9 tires yeah he seen my bronco and the tires he knows I’ll be getting a set as soon as available
Yeah I seen they were working on some 1/10 flubberz. I have 3D printed foams in these. I print my own 1/10 foams but I’d love to try out the flubberz when he gets them rolling!
Man I have been oogling that Bronco since they first came out 👀 I could watch that thing crawl all day! Interested in the Furitek 10th scale stuff, Have you run the fusion pro? If so, how does it compare?
No cogging. Just sounds like it a little because this is a sensorless setup with the FOC doing the work so it kinda sounds like it now and then but it’s never noticeable in the driving like a lot of systems.
@@2fmrc good deal! Stuck between this motor or the furi outrunner. Be going in a capra so outrunner may snag some wires. Idk yet 🤣 still doing some research
Love that early Bronco! Thanks for showing us yours! Good insights on the whole rig/motor & esc as usual! I'm hoping to get one for Christmas this year. How much overdrive did you go with? Looks like it's all working well together.
Man you're killin me!!! The wifey is goin to make me unsubscribe from you're channel lol, first for real tho keep up the great content. All cause of your channel I purchased the Rampart, pre-order cayman, fcx24, and tons of upgrades for all of my rigs. And now this I been keeping up on the furitek channel I been waiting very IMPATIENTLY for the 1/10 furitek stuff. Love the video can't wait to get one
I didn’t notice any heat with it honestly. I only ran 3s in this truck but I’ve been running 4s on it in another truck with no issues. The one on 4s does have the fan mounted on it but only because it came with it and I didn’t remove it. I could feel some warmth on the heat sink of this one but never hot at all.
I'm kinda new to 1/10 do you think that would fit with a capra I know they don't have alot of room mine does have the Vader flat skid this may have a little more juice then what I need mine came with a hobby wing 1080 with a crawlmaster 13t motor which is great but sometimes it seems it could be smoother crawling maybe I need to get the program card and mess with it I didn't get that with the truck
It should definitely fit in a Capra. I’ve forced the 550 can Hobbywing Fusion in the Capra before so this 540 can should fit pretty easily. Especially with the Vader skid!
Don't forget to put a snorkel on it if you plan to ford very deep with it. JK. I have been looking at that model myself. A little too expensive to get into RTR form for me at this time though. The shocks seem very good. It looked so composed. My 1/24 gets body chatter in some of those situations with the shocks I have.
Rub some dirt on that sexy white chicken leg! Great running video in a really cool looking place. And that Bronco couldn't have been set up better for a serious trail truck there. Needs a winch, lights and restraints for Teenwolf...next video 1/10 scaling of the Bronco. Just saying. Enjoy what you do for us, thank you.
