#replay. It's nice seeing the transformation from hard knocking boys to possible front porch lemonade and cookies sharing. Would be a great accessory in a family Christmas photo shoot.
Love these benches...my husband makes them for me. I'm so blessed like Jami with a crafty wood worker. I do the creative painting. I have currently 7 in my house in various sizes and colors. Love this look! Good save...we have made them for gifts. They last forever if you keep them out of the rain and sun. Then just repaint as they chippy. I use milk paints. Going to try your paints now. They look easy to work with.
I am so excited about the purchase of the old church, it is going to be lots of fun watching the renovation processes, and see the new shop set up, it is going to be a lot of work, and I hope Jamie and Zeb video as much as possible, it would be a shame to miss out on the opportunity to record it because of lack of time, even if they can't edit and use it all, it can be used some time down in the future even after the job is done....as a flashback renovation series maybe.
I love these benches and I love the fact you painted black underneath, it looks more layered and more realistic...the close ups really show the effect, and it is brilliant. I didnt like the colour of the wood either, glad you painted it black.
hey I am so excited for you hearing the news about the old church....I hope that no matter how busy you will be with renovation and moving and setting up the new shop, I hope you don't miss the opportunity to record every little bit of it, even if you don't get the time to edit all the footage, at least keep the footage and maybe when the job is done you could do a series of Flashback Renovation Videos....so excited for you.
I FORGOT TODAY WAS WEDNESDAY 😩😩….. Good grief … too many Medical Test this week and I totally MISSED THE LIVE ! I don’t know my name anymore or my date of birth …. LOL! This bench is GRAND ! I have a small one that is a dark stain……. huummmm maybe I’ll have to think about this technique! Love the Stencil you did on it too! The Tray sounds great Jami for the Craft Box . Grandpa Jack is handsome sporty that new hair cut ! Exciting news on the Church… you two amaze me with your energy… I had that energy 16 years ago too! Burning the candle at both ends… they met each other about 10-11 years ago and out she went…😂 ! Hugs to you both ❤️❤️❤️🍁🍁🍁❤️❤️❤️
I love that green. I use it all the time. I call it Depression Green. Not for the illness, Depression, The Great Depression. Green paint is probably the most used color in films.
we lucked out with the house we bought 3 years ago. the 79 year old man left 6 stools about 3 feet long that his father or his father in law made. they are so special
In talking about the church “just a suggestion “ have you thought about having a sandwich shop with your pasta salad and the cake you have made . Sort of like the Cracker Barrel concept because women love to have lunch and shop 😁☺️😉🤔
I Love watching you guys and all of your projects, but get so sad that these products aren't available to me. I live 20 minutes outside of the city of Florence with one of the best art supply stores in the country. Plus, forging antiques is the national pastime in Italy. I've done lots of antiquing finishes and chippy transformations, made my own milk paint (with milk), colored with spices--all that stuff. But sitting here watching you paint with DIY is torture. I know you can ship it, but the shipping costs would be prohibitive, and Italian customs is insane. But I do love you and all that you do. You inspire me!!
I’m going to St George next week. I checked google, you’re 3+ hours away. I’ll be thinking of you guys. If there was a senior softball tournament near you I’d be there. 🤗🌴🌺 my hubby plays ball ⚾️
I am so sorry that people are getting mean and nasty about the super chippy piece of furniture you painted....that is just silly.....I get it that super chippy is not for everyone and you said this lots of times in the video....I am not a big fan of the super chippy look, but I respect and admire your choice to be brave enough to use the super chippy look: I don't like tooo much of the super chippy over the furniture, and my personal choice is my choice, everyone likes different things. I would have loved to see a few more layers on that piece of furniture and maybe less chippyness and combining it with wet distressing and some old and decrepid stain...everyone has different taste, I find the super chippy look can be too much if it is all over the piece of furniture, and it is too busy...but everyone is different and has different taste...but I love what you do, and watch all your videos....xxxx
Sounds like you’ll need an elevator in the church so you won’t have to haul stuff up and down all those stairs! I’ll have to take a road trip to visit when it’s done.
Sometimes it’s done after but mostly if it’s not going to be seen, we don’t paint. But in decor like in this video we wait for the top to dry and then paint once we’re not live. The paint only dries so fast in an hour while we’re doing the live streams
