Hi Sharon! I love the color! And it changes based on sunlight. Sometimes it looks silver, and blue, and even champagne all in one day. Who knew? I am trying to focus on getting all of these furniture knickknacks done this Spring. Loving your home office Lady! Hugs and love, Cathryn
Hi Sweetie! When I was doing my research I found out there was a whole world of metallic paints that I did not know about. Thank you for watching and commenting. Cathryn
Hi Friend! So glad that you like the new transformation. My husband and I always say just because we are getting older we do not want our home to look like it. Although I still love chalk paint, metallic furniture is HOT! Hugs and 💖, Cathryn
Turned out gorgeous, AND may I say you should do a video on HOW to make a RU-vid video, your music was at the perfect level , your voice is soothing , really enjoyed your easy concise instructions , just awesome..... newly subscribed ! 😄

Hi Friend! I am loving metallic furniture right now. And all of the colors are STUNNING! I want to transform several of my chalk painted pieces from rustic to rustic glam with it. I am ordering the harbor blue as soon as I can find a small china cabinet. Thank you for helping me kick off my transformation series. Your kitchen island is HOT! Hugs and love, Cathryn
Hello lady that was a very very beautiful and informative makeover on the chairs thank you for mentioning the metallic paint I'm learning so much from all the ladies on yt instead of me throwing something away, I can redo it another way bless you lady
Now, you and Michelle did stunning jobs! Wow, amazed at the outcome of your project. I'm excited about the makeover you two are doing. Stay blessed as well😊
I love the transformation Cathryn! The chairs turned out fabulous! You did an great job painting and your fabric choice was right on point! Also, love the idea of using the pliers to hold back the fabric...will be using that idea from now on. I also love shopping at Harbor Freight, they have great prices for the same items you can get at Home Depot and Lowes. Cannot wait to see the rest of your Furniture transformation series.
Thank you thank you ,found this video so so helpful as I’m about to reupholster my dining room chairs Have chalk painted them but love the metallic finish on yours. Love how you explain every detail, love your voice & so so pleased I found your Chanel. Jacqui UK 🇬🇧

And I can't wait to see what your creative mine is going to come up with next, but whatever it is, it's going to be good! Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
Thank you so much Kerri! I want nice things, but I don't want to spend huge sums of money. What difference a coat of paint can make. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Cathryn
Wow! You totally transformed that furniture! Thank you so much for taking us through the process and showing us what you did! These collars are always the best to watch! One day I'll get it invitation, LOL! I absolutely love your channel and look forward to all the uploads! Tmika
Great job Katherine, I love the fabric. redoing my cushions to my 2 seater wrought iron table. i,'ll do a pillow case style with back ties. Can't wait for the series. Thxs for sharing.
I had to come back and watch this again, because I want to paint a jewelry armoire. Do you think it would be ok to paint over fresh chalk paint with the metallic? I don't like distressed paint but want to not have to sand. Adding the metallic paint over it should give me the glam look that I love. Thank you for all your amazing videos!
Hi Ruth! That is exactly what I did. I painted a metallic finish over chalk paint. My chalk paint color was beige/egg shell and the metallic finish was seashell. The two colors (chalk paint and metallic finish) were pretty close. Hugs and love, Cathryn
beautiful job! i'm glad you enjoyed this paint! i had been meaning to try it, but havent gotten around to it. i wanted to do an accent wall with it, using a stencil and this paint. one of these days! :)
Job WELL done!!! I never thought about using a paint sprayer with chalk paint. I wonder if you can use a paint sprayer to paint fabric on a couch... what do you think???
Hi Lori,That is an interesting question. I would be concerned about the paint sitting on top of the fabric instead of it being absorbed. Thanks for asking. Cathryn
I️ love how the pearl color look, I️ am planning on doing my chairs. I️ have 8 of them but they have upholstered back too :( any advice on how to upholster the back of the chairs. They look so similar to yours but with a back. Also I️ would love too to paint my table and china with a different color. If I️ am using the pearl color any advice for the color of the table and the China? Thanks for your videos
Love it! I'm a little confused though, do you have to use the minwax Paste finishing wax AFTER chalk painting AND still use Rustoleum's Clear topcoat paste for the metallic accent? Will the metallic adhere to the paste finish wax that was applied on top of the chalk paint? Thanks for another great DIY video.
Beautiful! How would you paint the dining room table? How would you seal it? Would your paint recipe change? I'm a new subscriber and I love your channel!!
Hi I'm a new subscriber; I have a question; will I be able to get a satiny smooth finish from chalk paint? I don't want a distristed look; but I also don't want to sand and painta large hutch, but I've never used chalk paint.. Thank you for your help.
Hi, Chalk paint will give you a flat finish. But the finish (your wax or clear protector) will give you a satin finish. I am working on 2 chairs. I painted them with homemade chalk paint and I used a clear protector. Stay tuned. That video will post within the next few days. Thank you for subscribing, Cathryn
Hi Jo! It depends on whether you want to use the hangers as decoration or not. If you are using the hangers to hang clothing I would not chalk paint them. Hugs and 💖, Cathryn
You are gonna be so sorry u used chalk paint. , restorers will tell you there is nothing in it to preserve the color. Have fun repainting them in a couple of years
