As someone who has been casting for decades, save yourself the time and trouble and save for a traditional casting set up. Yes its more expensive, but, all the little tubes, hoses and attachments on this thing will certainly get lost and lets not forget there was no illustration how to clean the parts of this after use, particular the investment phase with the flippy maneuver and balancing act. I have used the RTV mold making method and it works, but air bubbles will always be a problem because you cant pull a vacuum on the mold. Pennywise pound foolish folks.....
All the previous comments seem relevant. But it is kinda cool. Can it be purchased without the wax pot for one of a kind work? I would like to see real investment used and the mess that i envisioned as you disassemble things. Seems like you really want to clean any crumbs out of that hand carved funnel.
Ok great video for amateur casters ..please give me a break!!how muchnfor this system??I hope that any new caster or Goldsmith stear away from this ...I cannot believe it...what happened to learning by mistakes and hard workband cheaper equipment!!the last prep was so.laje and time consuming...OMG!!I am sure that this item isn't going to be a best seller!!😂😂
True that, Brody! I just ordered some low dome and a few feet of 2 mm square wire... Holy mackerel! I calculated, Rio is charging 10 bucks or so over spot for their sterling stock. And that's just the beginning. SMH
@@gmorgan5215 I'm going to date myself here. I can remember buying bullion for $1 over spot. Nope it wasn't from RIO either. I would love to find it for that now.
