I always set heights bottom up in HSMWorks. I assume I will continue with Fusion. I like to set my part zero 1" high, drop in, quick tape measure. Then subtract the 1". Gives a little safety zone.

I have been using V Carve pro, but I can't do nearly as much as I can with Fusion! I've been kind of paranoid to use the cam part of Fusion but now I think I'm going to give it a shot! I wish I would have started with this instead of wasting so much money and time on V Carve. Thanks for the video's!

This really helped a lot I just purchased an ox and this video was great. The only problem was the spindle didn't start and I'm not sure if it's a fusion problem or a chilli pepper issue, its setup with a tinyg controller. Would you have any ideas where I'm going wrong. Also your videos have been the most help that I have found on the internet so far thank you Darrell...Edmonton Canada.
Hi Darrell, Look in the manual for the machine and see what code will start the spindle. If you don't see it in the code from Fusion, you know that's where the issue is. HAve an awesome day! Best, Lars

Hi Lars, We made a post using fusion 360 CAM just to try out how it goes on the machine (fagor). When we loaded to the machine it was ok but when we tried running it, cutter was spinning above the stock and all the process were correct but in the air. Any suggestion or help would be great. Thanks
Hi juned vahora Thank you for watching! 1.I would check the WCS you created on the Setup page. Is that in the right location and the correct work offset? 2. Check the g-code output and see what the Z values are like...Are they all positive numbers? 3. Then go troubleshoot on the machine. Was the work offset set correctly? It is normally one of three things. Operator error on the computer- Post needs a tweak - Or, Operator error on the machine :-)
when we post the code to a file, and load into a tormach, there is errors generated by pathpilot on some of the characters generated by the code. it hangs up on the ":" and explains the errors but we arent sure why any help would be great! Thank you!
