This is a series of Fusion exercises that focus on sketching. The idea is to take a technical drawing and reproduce it in Fusion - a process that mirrors how I frequently use the software, as I create sketches on paper or physical models and translate those measured drawings/objects to 2D sketches and 3D models in Fusion.
I'd suggest taking a stab at making the sketch before you watch me do it. Here is a link to the shear plate drawing: www.dropbox.co... (you do not need a Dropbox account to view or download the file)

Geez thanks, this tutorial felt interesting and challenging beyond a typical tutorial, really got me practicing. I hope you come out with more Edit: As for the end, I think the 30 degree angle made the lines parralel for me

Do you know an ideal book or resource for more drawings like these?

Watch the first video.. I show the two books that these drawings came from. The orange one gets deep ☠️

I'm seeing no spec for the angle to the slot.

Do you mean we're seeing the same issue, or did I miss something in the drawing?

@@RobDuarte After drawing the slot you set an angle of 30 degrees to a construction line passing thru the right hole center, but you couldn't set the angle of the construction line to the line passing thru the two holes. I was agreeing that that angle is not specified in the drawing. BTW, I loved how that shape came together as you specified each dimension.😁

The drawing link appears to be broken.

This is meant for beginners, but honestly it's good practice and feels like solving mini puzzles, so it's not wasted effort to maybe grab a more complex drawing and try to replicate it.
