How do you import an .stl file and add fillets to it?

I have a question for you, can you do a stop chamfer in fusion? Say the length of the top edge of your box is 20mm but I don't want a chamfer to do the whole edge, I only want to do say 10mm. Is there a way to do a stop chamfer?

my fillet keeps moving in the wrong direction, as in its eating a curve in rather than smoothing a curve like your example

Hi Ryan, in Fusion 360 fillets can only work in 2 directions and that is dependent on the location of the fillet. For instance, in the video I fillet at the edge of a rectangle which cuts away at it but then I show a fillet at the intersection of two rectangles which generates a smooth curve between them. When you are filleting you just have to know how its going to behave depending on those 2 conditions.
