Finally broke an axle shaft/u-joint on my front Fusion 4x4 running 21 road. Had a spare on the trailer so I was able to replace it and get ready for a trail the next day. Sharing what goes on when repairing a failed shaft.
I have Fusion axles too and have been told I will probably never break an axle so need to buy or carry a spare and even if I did they would exchange the broken one for free. This just shows that is not always the best advice. I would hate to spend all the time and money to go do a trip like this and have it end early cause I wasn’t prepared. Did you order the spare you had from Fusion?
