Dallas has a far greater GDP than Austin. The GDP here is the largest in the southern US. I highly doubt that "it's too dead nobody wants anything to do with it" is at all the reason. Not to forgot the twin 80 story Hardwood Project.
@@doyouspeakdrum San Francisco, and Los Angeles both have a larger GDP than Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. But who cares about that. Lol. These projects in Dallas have been proposed for a while. I just read online that Austin was getting ready to break ground on Texas new tallest. 1,024 feet tall. I heard around April. That city is growing very fast and I don’t think you people from Dallas, or Houston with large egos, don’t understand that
Now you know that this is not really all going to be built some of this projects have been waiting more than 10 years and nothings come of it. I know because I live here in the Dallas area. Some of those have already been built by 2021 but some will never be built because projects just fall through sometimes.
Goldman-Sachs is looking to build or to occupy an already built building in Dallas. They are looking to open the second biggest office outside of Manhattan New York City. So maybe one of those projects that have been waiting for an anchor is exactly what they’re looking for.
most of these projects are old and not going to happen and some of them are already built Not happening: Harwood Forum Smart district Pacific plaza towers Already built: The tower at hall arts At&T discovery district Arlington entertainment district the rest are just proposed or under construction
Well, it's now 2024 and so far no word of shovels digging the dirt fir these projects. Projects like these take more than 6 years to complete. A lot of talk but no action. Smh.
Because the Dallas Cowboys would play somewhere outside of the Dallas area? Please explain? It’s 15 min down i30 without traffic. And the rangers certainly wouldn’t be there if Dallas wasn’t next door.
@@iamchaunceman people criticize Dallas Cowboys being in Arlington but forget that The Rams and chargers play in Inglewood, The LA Angel's play in OC, and the NY jets and Giants play in NJ
@@TheAnomics1 i don’t know what that gotta do with the skyline I never said anything about that. Either way, Houston is still the biggest city in Texas
Yea these projects are bound to happen in nevuary these a couple of these are the same in other cities. So Dallas is potentially not building them. Besides Dallas like to take other cities ideas and copy it and put it there city. I keep saying this Fort-Worth is gonna out grow Dallas. 🤣🤣🤣
