Absolutely lovely. There aren’t many original Mk5s around now. My Mk5 has done a few more miles than this but I’ve spent a lot over the years on maintaining and restoring it so nowadays I just use it occasionally in the summer months. Yep some will say there’s no point in having it if you don’t drive it much, but I get pleasure out of just owning it and besides it’s my car so it’s my business what I do with it!

Lovely example but not much fun owning it if you're worrying about the mileage and value all the time. Will just be an ornament in someone's collection I'm sure.

Mines done nearly 145k and still going strong! Never going to get rid of it so who cares about mileage

I never understand why people buy cars to keep them in a garage... what is the point?? Cars are designed to be used and enjoyed, not hidden away so you can potentially make money off of it one day. Invest in stocks if you want to do that.
