@@seansean9675 No that wasn't a safe pass. And the reason we have had 73 drivers prosecuted since July for that exact reason. Don't follow the guidance and you will be processed for the charge of careless and inconsiderate driving for not following the guidance as set out in the Highway Code. It's set out in the terms and conditions of the driving licence.

You are thinking this wrong. It's not about guessing if the lights (which were on red) are going to change before they get there, it's making an overtake in a poor position, realising half way through the poor overtake that something is up ahead and instead of slowing down and slotting back in behind, just braking hard and cutting across. But, these comments of yours are no surprise and are just the usual delirious nonsense.
