Tried to get a PLC program to control a Forward / Reverse contactor. However, the coil is reading Mohms of resistance. This video will walk you through the diagnostics of determining the faulty component on the Fwd/Rev contactor.
Great video once again, Pete. It looks like under the Reverse contactor there is room for another overload? In what situation would it be beneficial to have FWD, REV contactors and 2 O/Ls?
Both the FWD and REV contactor go to the same motor, and only one contactor is on at a time... so there is no need for an additional overload relay. The one overload relay protects the motor windings in FWD and REV
