Hi Mr. Pete Vree. Your are a very good teacher, i appreciate it, thank you. I bought 5 HP Nidec FD5CM2K18 motor 1 PH, 230 volts, FLA 22 A to my compressor to remplace 6.5 HP gazoline motor and i found on Youytube from you, 3 wires control and now i am able to do with 2 wires control. My question is it possible to combine and use one or other 3 wires control (or) with 2 wires control for the pressure switch (dipôle) please, inside the panel? I will use Schneider Thermal overload relay LRD22C 16-24A with Schneider LC1D32M7C Telemecanique Contactor 220VAC 32A. Have a nice sunny day Mr.. P.s. 2 wire take a s.2020 01 22. You have a 3 pole starter for a two wire operation. L3 has a different heater. Is this right. I think when your starter pulled in after you did a reset L3 pole was powered up but not L1 ?? My observation could be incorrect.
The term 2 Wire Control refers to the control circuit that turns on this 3-Pole, 3 Phase Starter. The overload unit below the starter has 3 Heater/Overload units that protect each of the 3 lines going to the 3 Phase motor. When I turn off the disconnect near the end, I am turning off the entire 3 Phase supply to the circuit. When the power is restored, the 2 Wire control circuit turns the 3 Pole, 3 Phase starter immediately and the motor goes back to running.
