For this one its quite tight and stays on of its own will but some valves need just a little loctite to secure the brass sleeve, I tried 6 FX bottles and 2 were a nice tight fit and the other 4 were a little loose and required a drop of loctite. Thanks for watching.

Yep, no need to remove anything, just slide the new one on, the ones we sell we recommend a little loctite to stop the sleeve falling off. Thanks for watching.

@Slipveste hi i managed to get the complete part from sportsman gun centre in Exeter they are able to supply the complete part to attack to the bottle they don't have just the valve on its own. The complete assembly cost me £80. Hope this helps you
Nice video. Have you ever tried the huma second reg for the impact mk2? They show you have to cut down the bottle valve for some reason, do you know why? Thanks.
I have never fitted one but it looks like the bottle is no longer removable, so the one way valve inside the bottle is no longer needed and they have you cut it off, to stop it interfering wit the external reg. Thanks for watching.
Its not a standard part but its the ergo tactical deluxe grip, very nice little upgrade, they sell them at brownhills but you have to be quick they go out of stock very fast.
Yep the brass sleeves will be coming next week, and the bottle thread is the same as the L2, you have to be-careful on length though I think only the 300cc bottle fits on the L2 without hitting the grip.
just got a Maverick and when i unscrew the bottle after adjusting regulators the bottle just empties the air and needs refilling when screwed back onto the gun, any idea what that issue is?
Sounds like the valve is getting stuck or the valve face has some damage on it, you can take the valve out the end of the bottle and take a look, if the face is not damaged you might get away with adding a bit of silicone grease to free it up. Thanks for watching.
@@sub12airgunners I managed to fix the valve thank you, also seems FX neglected to fit an O'ring inside the bottle valve and I am having a nightmare trying to fit it any tips? it is really tough to manipulate into the seat
@@KnowsleyVerminControl Make sure there isn't still one in there its hard to spot, try to feel with a pic or cocktail stick, if its not in there coat the new o ring with silicon grease and just try and work it in, its not easy but it does on in. Thanks for watching.
Although I Really liked your video, and appreciate your prospective on FX bottle valve disassembly (which I just did and learned 2 days ago) it's the sub 12 BS that stops me from subbing.I appreciate you bro, but my "low" set Maverick with 18's is doing 45 fpe... sub 12 fpe, why bother?... that's kids stuff. GREAT informational video, but sub 12, that's what I would give my 6 year old. I'm SO sorry for your government's oppression.
Fair enough, but why bother with air rifles if you can have a real rifle, seems strange to spend more money on an inferior type of rifle, you could buy/ build a nice .22lr for the same money as a maverick, that will be more accurate, more reliable and nicer too shoot. Thanks for watching
