Thank you Ernest ! If I ever get my elusive power plenum upgrade , and the .35 cal barrel this will come in handy . Can't wait for these mods . Its been a long wait .
Very interesting info indeed literally the best of both worlds 👏👏 My regulator is kicking my ass atm I will get it to play ball, just gonna get a new piston and o rings getting creep atm and it's not refreshing properly 😒 was wondering is there any chance on doing a updated regulator rebuild video with current configuration and or different washer thicknesses pros cons etc?
What ballpark measurements should My hammer preload and valve adjuster be at for the jsb 44 grain in my mk2 impact. Thanks for all your help, just received my gun last week. I’ve got a lot to learn from you Ernest.. you are the master!!!!
Great video and very informative like always we learn a lot from you sir. My question is can I lower the reg pressure and increase the measurements for VA and power wheel ? Thanks
Nice informative video sir. Any suggestion or instruction to upgrade an FX impact x .30 cal w/ no power plenum to .35 short barrel w/ power plenum? Thank you.
So Ernest, the hammer spring load should read 18mm when the power wheel is at MIN? I thought we always measure the distance when the wheel is at MAX . Please correct me. Ty
Hello Ernest, I have a .30 cal Mk2 and I want to be able to switch to .357 and back without taking the whole gun apart, is this mod will it? Thank you.
Hey Ernest that spring size is no where to be found? The link you provided only deals in round numbers like 40mm x 6 or 7 and 7 or 8 in wire? And no link to the rubber balls? Could you provide the correct sizes and links please. Thanks!! Albert Lopez
Hi Ernest I just wanted too be sure when tuning the hammer too 18.06mm do I needed a shorter hammer spring or just put it on Max setting too set at 18.06?
Weres the link to buy the spring and rubber balls i just switched my 35 mk2 to 22cal and cant get it to shoot below 1050 but cant find link to the parts
good afternoon my fx m3 caliber 22 asks my slug 25 grams h&n put 4 lines and wheel 16 first regulator 150bar and second regulator 110bar but which one better fps?
so this gun was 357 when you bought it? it has the 357 upgrades, but with the valve MOD you are able to swap DOWN in calibers and still tune without major disassebly of gun?? wow good job. please confirm i am comprehending your videos! i am trying to purchase a 35 impact from utah and also a 25 caliber change kit in 600. that way i have the big air tank and 2 calibers. please let me know what you think sir! great videos
@@ernestrowe5061 I don't currently have an Impact. Taking a pretty serious look at the .35 Impact, especially after this video, and will definitely try it if I get one and let you know.
Hi Ernest I contacted FXUSA and they said that 40X6.84X.75 spring is not a stock item. Is this the spring that comes with the power kit, if not where can I get the spring?
Awesome news Earnest! Is there a "timing" issue with it? I want to change my 357 to 25 cal. Can you please make a video for that specific conversion? I think there is a lot of interest in this one. A step by step vid would help. Thanks for your time and skill! 👍
Bryan Stuart --> only adjustment needed is the valve adjuster on the .25 and .30 no need to mess with reg and hammer preload. Let me show you on video!
@@ernestrowe5061 thanks friend! I've been told by someone that there's a timing issue with the probe. Other's say it's not an issue. I know you know what you're doing so I'll take your advice. Also been told that if I do the conversion, my warranty will be void.
I’ve been told the 35 cal is its own beast. No going up to 35 from the other smaller calibers or down from the 35 either. Was told timing issues and lots of hardware to replace to do it. Can you confirm this ... ? I do not want to void my warranty or damage my gun.
@@dark30welderwelding11 no timing issues. And FX USA says warranty will NOT be void. Even using aftermarket parts like Saber Tactical or Huma Air. Of course FX will not warranty the aftermarket parts but they will still warranty the gun. Get the spring from Earnest. I believe it's the spring from the Impacts up to 30 caliber. Otherwise velocity will be too high. I have an Impact in 35 caliber. I ordered Earnest's spring kit and a barrel kit in .25. I shoot jsb 25.39 grain pellets at 920(ish) fps instead of the 1050fps(original spring) without adjusting the reg pressure. I can hit the gong at 205 yards but I still need to tune for a better velocity and harmonics. There is a lot of mis-information out there but these are my results. They had to crank up the power for the 9mm so the only real problem is you have an overpowered rifle with a bigger 580cc bottle. Doesn't sound like a real problem to me!
Hi ernest awesome video buddy I was going to ask I bought the slug power kit probe for my impact 25 cal can I just use the pellet probe and softer valve spring and rubber ball that comes with kit ..and not take my gun apart to install the spacers and just use it like that or I have to install the spacers ... I hope you can answer my question ty and have a great day buddy
sir i have .22 fx impact with powerblock ,,can i switch the barrel with probe to .357 without changing hammer spring or any internal parts if i do so will able to shoot .357 with higher power to shoot upto 100yrd. i am new fx so reply
