Understanding that you can definitively give me an answer without seeing it, Can you tell me what the twist rate is on stock .30 600mm barrel that come on new (Feb2021) Impact X MKII and are they called "Superior STX (slow)" barrels or something else? You’re the man Ernest. How much of a difference in Velocity between the .25 Impact from the 600mm and the 700mm barrel. If o thought it made that much difference I’d buy the 700 to replace my 600
Its good to you can tune all the caliber pretty much using the valve, I had no clue. Most video that I've watched folks barely touch the valve. My question: Is this method the optimal way to tune or by going back and forth between the h.spring and reg and finishing with slight adjustment to the valve from the full open position? Or is one use for tuning down and one for tuning up? Just bought my first pcp, a new .30 impact x 600mm and I'm trying to figure things out. Thank you for your time.
I'm going to be purchasing FX impact Mark III used but I want to shoot slugs and pellets in that case I would have to purchase the heavy liner correct? Besides the liner do you need to upgrade anything else to shoot slugs? The only thing else I'm considering is to purchase a harmonic balancer. I don't want to go crazy on modifications but just want to know the essentials.
hey man i have a question. i was told if i buy the Fx impact m3 35cal.. with the upgraded plelum... if i plan to switch to 30 or 25 cal that i need to switch my hammer... from this video it shows you do NOT need to switch anything other than the barrel itself going from 35 down to 30 or 25, correct? the guys im working with were trying to sell me a NSA probe alignment kit with a lighter hammer with a 25 caliber change kit and a few mags... please let me know what you think. i love the video i just want to make sure i am interpreting things correctly... you purhcased that as a 35 gun correct? so it has the upgraded hammer installed?

Ernest, Where Is the hammer screw setting at. 50%-60%-75%..90%? When you fine tune the speeds down to what you want are you doing it with valve only or do you do it with the hammer(910 down to 890). For example, Is there a difference of 890fps with a higher hammer setting and lower valve adjustment compared to a light hammer setting and a wide open valve?
Which tunning is buest for m3 177 long rang with 14 grain pallet?1st reg? 2nd reg? Power wheel? Microµ adjust? valve? please tell me i got it..but not know about tunning...pls share me its tunning...i want to shoot same pallets for long term..not use different pallets...so one time set is the regular i dont want tunning again and again..
dear Ernest i need your help, i have a mk1 impact in ,177 with power plenum, dual transfer port and slug probe, power is no issue , but factory wont produced any ,177 slug liners i cant even order a smooth twist x barrel, many people talking about walther lothar polygone barrels for slugs,i found blanks with out grown any advice how to make it work? thanks
Ernest Rowe question about the screw, C9. Mine is a M3*16. Current spec has it as M3*18. Would I benefit from the M3*18? or going to a M3*20 be better? I have the 16mm C10 and notched C8 with the slug power probe kit on a .30cal Impact PP
Hi Ernest I have a 25 impact 700mm that was tuned by fx shooting nsa 36 slugs at 965fps amazing I got 357 kit installed with the power plenum tried to go back to the 25 Trying to adjust the bump stop is not changing the velocity From medium to maximum ?????
That's a HUGE loss in power (110ft/lbs & 48ft/lbs) considering the .357 cal 81gr was producing 133 ft/lbs energy at 860 fps vs. the 23 ft/lbs on your .177 cal setup and 85 ft/lbs on your .30 cal setup...🤔
Hey Ernest I bought a 357 impact like a year ago then I started to get a leak. I send it to Fx to get fix and and and a few day of used it started to leak again. Can you help me with my rifle and get it fix please and also customize it for me to give me the max power to shoot 71g Nelson Slugs. And tune also so I can be able to change it to 25. Cal 37g slugs with good accuracy and power
My fx impact mk2 power plenum version .177 caliber is set to 940 fps at minimum power, but in maximum 917 fps only...why sir? Lower hammer tension has a higher velocity than maximum!!!
