The MK1 has gone, the penny jar has been raided. The gun has been ordered, 5 weeks ago. Now it's down to the well known UK importer to supply. Yes it's expensive for a hobby, but what serious hobby doesn't have a cost? Thanks for the review, keep 'em coming. 👍
I struck lucky... called local RFD on Tuesday about an M3, he had just literally received 2, 1 sold and I took the other collecting today... A Compact in .177
Good morning James , great to see you . i recently bought a impact m2 . And i love it , its a great all round rifle . This is a fantastic review , showing the new improvements . buying FX rifles is a bug , and ive now bought 4 fx rifles now . thank you for your hard work James .... buy yourself this M3 , trade up . Cheers Simon from YORK
I really want to buy one of these, but cant help but think that being in the UK and, for the moment, having to get a sub 12ft/lb version, its got a lot of the key features removed. Might have to wait until I get my FAC to then get a higher power version.
I do agree to a certain extent. But I recently tried a .30 cal in sub 12. It knocks rats and squirrels stone dead. No body roll or delayed death you sometimes see in lower cals. I wouldn’t use for anything else though and £1200 is to much for a ratting gun but I was persuaded that .30 cal in sub 12 does have a purpose
If you're awaiting an FAC? Maybe you will apply for one in future? You can enjoy the accuracy of the impact in sub 12 and then if your FAC comes through approved you can have it upgraded to full fat FAC by FX for £500.
@@martolhunts1426 I had mine 2 days before sending it back with a leak, 3 weeks later it returned, accurate gun but very agricultural to shoot , triggers not brilliant to , for the extra money you’d be better with the m3 , I’m over the moon with mine best pcp I’ve had in a long while
I'm an old fashioned fart at heart, don't fancy spending money on features that are disabled! Don't even get a price reduction!🤬🤬 Cheers James👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎
Completely agree with you! And those who do won't comment because truthfully they know it's true and they have it brought it to be trendy and have the latest "fx" lol
good over look of the rifle. as for me i wouldn't pay over $100 for anything less that 45fpe i know these come in different caliber but still can't see paying $2000 for it and it not be at least semi auto
So i have a HFT500 and because i do alot of HFT shooting. Considering getting a FX, im just wondering if it would be suitable for FT, has anyone got any advise please 😎🔫
Hi there mate from Qld Australia I don't understand it you fella's can have moderator/ surppesr but not as the rest of us here oh bye the way really nice rifle anyway have a good one take care.
Hi mate, here in the UK we can have/purchase suppressors on air rifles with no paperwork at all, though the mad cow in charge of Scottish air rifle law brought in a licence that costs £75 UK for air rifles if you don't have a shotgun or firearms licence already. That's for sub 12ft /lb rifles. All air rifles over 12ft/lbs must go on our firearms licences. On firearms suppressors or sound moderators as our licence calls them are 'shall issue' items and virtually every rifle from .22rf to center fire in the country will have one or at least have a mod' approved for fitment. Thankfully our licence issuers took a cold at the thought of being held liable for shooting induced deafness and listened to common sense when it was pointed out you can still hear a moderated rifle at quite some distance it just isn't as loud. Once they realised you can't get rid of the sonic boom following the bullet they pretty much gave up the fight.
That's why buying the FX maverick is the better choice,4 to 5 hundred quid cheaper ( depending where you buy from) the thing that makes the impact the price it is, the adjustability capabilities, and as he said, all that is locked away from UK buyers, The maverick it is.
