Hello Mr. Rowe, I ve recently purchased 2 Fx-s and started viewing your vids. Lots of them. Masterclass indeed. After watching this clip, I have a practical question for the master : “Will a Wildcat MKIII rear tube end fit a MKII Crown block ?” --- Your answer will be very much appreciated, Mr Rowe. Sincerely, Len.
Good Stuff Ernest! The Genius of Fredric and Son and Family, Matt Dubber adding much needed testing for the slug barrels, and yourself, the mast FX mechanic! Fantastic Combo Sir! A Great Team loing time needed in the Air Gun World. A long way since the old TAG Days Isn't it Ernest!!! ;
I just did my Mk3. There’s no way a crescent wrench will fit to loosen the gauge. You need a 11mm wrench about 1/8 thin. Also don’t need special pin spanner wrench shown there were no holes on the end of the air tube. Get someone strong to hold the regulator in my case detached for the air tube so I had to grab regulator and spin it off the part that was show here need the spanner. It stayed connected to the body of the gun. Anyway it was super easy to do measure like he shows the the action works properly when you’re done. Now to get those 25 slugs up to speed. I have the sniper version and got a barrel exstension for the moderator from Donny Fl send him a message and he will put a part together for you to do this was $40 looks good also. I got it go past the end of the now longer air tube the moderators I’ll spin on like normal.
ok whats not obvious about this install is that you must tighten down the csp well, remember this is a high air pressure tube. also be sure to use silicone grease sparingly on the orings to help with a tight seal.
Hi Ernest, I ordered the plenum on your EBAY store. Thank you for getting back to me I'm wondering how to get a tool like you used in the video to unscrew the cover? I googled the company name on the tool in the video, but found nothing on their website. Thanks again, Eamon
Emergency Ernest. I put your plenum on and now my trigger is stuck in the fire position. I followed your instructions but now the trigger is stuck in the fire position, what should I do?
hello friend, we know that the wildcat mk2 6.35 compact carbine makes about 35.38 good shots at 58.59 joules of power, if we put the power plenum, how many more shots can you get?
Just got around to installing on my WC1 today while following the video. Easy install, especially with the Park Tool. I thought I had tightened it well, but a leak where the plenum attaches to the block side. I took it apart, added more grease and tightened it more than the first time. I still have the leak, is there something i'm missing?
How many versions of the mkiii are there? I just got mine and i noticed my regulator screw looks different from yours and others out there. Where can i get a plenum? Looked around online but no luck
Hi will this work on wildcat mk1. And dont mind me asking do you have filipino blood? You look like one. And i really love watching your videos! I learn alot
@SRY R3M. I also installed a Huma in mine and a Wika manometer. Is the xl plenum you mention just the spacer that is included with the Huma regulator? If so, I don't consider that an xl plenum. I don't know what Huma calls it, other than a spacer. Anyway, I sure would like to get the plenum Ernest has. Yet it seems a person has to be one of the "inside elete group" to obtain such an item.
ok - update I have now got a dreamline plenum on my WC3 Compact, there is a small gap but I fitted an old oring just to keep any dust from getting on the threads, it has put the manometer too far forward to fit my donny, but a weihrauch mod fits perfectly and is about the same diameter as the shroud. Did a quick test and got 30FPE at 100bar!! but best of all the huggett pic mount now fits on! So very happy - I reckon 130 bar would be supersonic.....
losing 10 bar a day at the moment - used leak detector on all the seal joints - couldn't find anything, so today I have removed the plenum, rotated the reg 1 turn, and refilled to 140 bar - fingers crossed.
