FX Wildcat Barrel Oring Repair 

Many thanks for this info. My Wildcat was suffering from a broken o-ring. This sorted it out!

I noticed two marks on the brass left by the allen screw, looks like you were not the first to make the mistake of pushing the barrel too far to the rear thus fouling the mag. easily done but easy to rectify as you showed. good upload !

I agree with clgraham82, knowing the o-ring sizes would be very handy. And BTW, the constant whistling in the background is VERY distracting and irritating. This is an instructional video, not an entertainment video. Soundtrack not required.

It is unnecessary to take off the stock nor loosen the 4 screws holding the airtube,the barrel is free floating and only guided by O-rings in the assembly.Once you take off that one cheek piece,take out the allen screw and slide out the barrel,simple as that,you do however have to be verry careful when sliding the barrel with the new O-rings back in,use some silicone grease and carefully wigle the barrel back in so the first outer O-ring on the brass piece doesnt get damaged when you push it past the transfer port :-)

do you have to empty the air cylinder first before removing the barrel

How often do you need to change the o-ring inside the barrel? Mine (30ft/lb) broke every 400 to 500 shots, is this normal?

Wait a minute...my 25 fx wildcat first generation barrel actually screws off....why is that???
