Check out the reveal trailer for GI Joe: Wrath of Cobra for a peek at gameplay and more from the upcoming game. GI Joe: Wrath of Cobra will be available in 2024.
Give grown men in their 40’s exactly what they want. 90’s style arcade best em’ ups based on 80’s cartoons. Awesome. Thunder Cats and Muppet Babies brawlers next please.
Yes, but, the Konami game used the art style and character designs from that Dic 90’s series. This game’s art style/design is taken from the early 80’s mini series.
Seems fun, but odd as an arcade beat-em-up. Would've made more sense as a run-and-gun like Metal Slug, CT Special Forces, or even Contra. Heck, even a squad-based shooter like Gears of War or Mass Effect would've been really fitting if not for the retro vibes.
We already got a G.I.JOE. run'n'gun in the arcade. The whole point of this game is to give this franchise a beat 'em up belt fighter. Do try and keep up, lol.
This is dope, they should have shown the gameplay earlier in the trailer. I'm conditioned when there is a bunch of animation to wonder okay but what does the game look like. It actually looks awesome.
@@eidanyoson7898I couldn't tell whether it's poorly rendered video or that they actually had the nerve to produce Flash-style animation at old webcam frame rate.
So far, the playable characters include: Duke Scarlett Snake Eyes Gung-Ho Roadblock Ripcord And the bosses are: Cobra Commander Destro Zartan Baroness Storm Shadow Dr.Mindbender edit: Shipwreck and Lady Jae have been confirmed to be playable and Major Bludd is a boss Who else are you hoping to see?
The game had a moderate budget overall, but it was a success, short, but still amazing, got no doubt VA's were more expensive than all budget in the game. The DLC looks promising, it released today, but im pending on playing it
This Trailer does remind me of the 1980's G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero Cartoon (1983-1987) But The Music, In this trailer, Is very different, then the original 1980's G.I.Joe Intro Song.
For a title like this, it would've been crazy had this had the style and gameplay of Transformers: Devastation. That game was awesome. Still waiting on a sequel.
Looks okay. Would rather see a run and gun like Contra or Rolling Thunder instead of a beat em up. Also Cobra in Joe headquarters? That mess has to be fixed. It's just jarring.
*HELLO?!?!* Johnny Gioeli & Tee Lopes, from Sonic the Hedgehog fame? And the game isn't even being made by SEGA?! Okay, sign me up! Was not expecting this, but now I'm totally on-board for this nostalgia hype train! Choo-choo!!
Yeah that animation why not use clips from the show it self or it's opening with the old song to that will be better hope change this one in the final game release
This game was probably made in response to the success of TMNT Shredder's Revenge. Maybe at some point Mattel could made a He-Man/She-Ra crossover beat 'em up game similar to the two, the story could have it where something happens that causes portals between Eternia & Etheria to pop up all over both worlds, and He-Man & She-Ra must work together to stop it from causing chaos, players could choose to play as various characters from both series, it would be nice little shout out to fans of the Masters of the Universe franchise.
Check out Double Dragon Gaiden rise of the dragons. It just came out this past summer. And it's a throwback to the old games with some new ideas thrown into the mix.
