I just bought this watch online 5 minutes ago from a shop in Finland (i live in Sweden). It cost me 8900 sek, its was the only Frogman i could find anywhere on the internet to buy new. They had only 1 for sale. I bought it because i have always wanted a nice watch and im 30 years old and hoping i will have it for the rest of my life

I absolutely love any frogman G-Shock! I used to be a diver at the sheriffs office I was a water/swift water rescue and recovery diver although I don’t dive anymore (I had to prematurely retire due to medical condition) but this is my dream watch they can keep their Rolex but for me I’ll take the frogman from Casio all day long!!!
nice unboxing review, dude. This frogman, by far, is the most complete features built-in. in my opinion, as GShock fanatics and SCUBA Dive Instructor, CASIO needs to consider to make new frogman series with one more featur: dive algorythms. And by doing so the frogman would transform into a functional dive computer.
+Mula Hutagaol I'm pretty sure we'll get there someday. But from experience Casio had been charging a lot for each new feature added in their product. I can't imagine how much an actual dive computer G-Shock would gonna cost us if they made one today.
Bro, may i know what's your wrist size ? Im currently thinking about buying this exact model, but im not so sure how it would fit on my 7" wrist, im currently wearing a rangeman and its barely fits my wrist, im really hoping this model wouldn't hang on the side to much.
No. I don’t dive. This watch is basically a dive timer with built in compass, depth gauge and thermometer. Not a dive computer. What makes it good is that how tough it is. If I’m a diver, I’ll bring this alongside a dive computer due to how reliable it is under any harsh circumstances.

I quite like this watch, checked it out in BIC earlier. The band is long as it is to be able to wear it over the wetsuit as this piece is intended for diving.
Great video...best I've seen comparing the GWF-D1000 to the older 1000...thank you! I am a diving instructor and torn between these two models. Love the *compass* and depth meter on the D1000 (although I have a dive computer so depth function not critical)....and the D1000's slightly larger, cleaner face (tide info on GWF-1000 home screen not really necessary...at least for me)...but D1000 is pricey. I have only seen the D1000 online so might feel differently in person. Overall, as a daily wear watch...which model (GWF-10000 or GWF-D1000) do you prefer in terms of appearance and overall? Does one have a more rugged/tactical appearance? Thank you very much!
For daily wear, personally I'll go with GWF-1000 only. The watch face design match really well with the bezel shape and that makes it look more rugged than the D1000. It is also more affordable to most of us to be worn daily.
The G on the dial only appears on cities where the multiband time sync is available. There should be an option to make it visible at all times where the antennas are not present. The watch looks like something’s missing.
Don’t you think that the lower tier frogman 1000 is a great buy right now ? I can pick up a used/new one for around $300-$350. What do you think? Thanks! Great vids!
Yes, their used market price is dropping! Great options if you don’t mind the size. The price is roughly the same as the GW5000 series now. It has extra feature and just feels tougher.
i dont have english manual! why can you change the tempurature? its for manually calibrating? i accidently touched mine and i think its higher number than it is.

LCDs look great on those Frogman. But the yellow Frogman’s LCD looks better than the rest. Casio would ever cover the Frogman’s beautiful case back with the Carbon Core Guard seen on GG.B100?
Could some one explain to me WHY the blue model is two times more expensive than the red one. Given the fact that the red one has more info on the display than the blue one and they both have the same strap, display and functions. Thank you in advance! :)

Yes you can. The setting is default to Celsius if 'home city' setting is set tot Tokyo. Change this, and then measuring unit/format setting will be available.
Im really lusting for one of these, i am a mailman so my gw5000 should be enough, also i like to wear only one watch and i would hate debating which one to wear, still knowing all that i still want this blue frogman so bad. 😶

You only need to received the wave signal from the Multiband 6 function for that G to light back up. If you didn't get that signal then, the logo will be gone.
Yes. Which model do you have? Typically you go to the receive screen and hold the bottom right button for a few seconds and it'll start the manual receiver function

Footballlife XXL I paid around the €860 -€900 mark. Pricey bit of kit but I just had to have one. Might be cheaper now slightly but looking on eBay the price varies by as much as €200 up or down
