main fix = go to NVidia control panel and look for the "set G-Sync " tab, at the bottom you see "enable settings for the selected display model" un select that. if this not helps try flipping the DP cable ends around but this is only temporary i think, good luck all.
Try to flip your dp cable around and switch port on card. Worked for me, not sure which one it was. I must have tested every setting there is in control panel nothing worked before i thought that some cables are directional.
Problem solved. If you have a 144Hz monitor with a 48-144Hz VRR range, you can use CRU(Custom Resolution Utility) to decrease the range to 90-144Hz. www.displayninja.com/what-is-freesync-brightness-flickering/
Good point, but raising the lower Freesync limit is just gonna cause tearing/stuttering when the rendered FPS drops below that. I'm using 30 Hz as my lower limit (HP Omen 32" monitor, 1440p VA panel) and it works great. 48 FPS is too high, my 1080 Ti chokes on some games and drops a little below that (DCS World and Cyberpunk 2077)
Hi everyone!, I have the same problem with an AOC G2460PG 144HZ G SYNC monitor. No matter what i do, screen flickers when G Sync is active. If anybody knows how to solve this please be welcome to share!!!
1- Make sure you have the last Nvidia driver: 451.48 or newer (www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx) 2- Put dynamic brightness off 3- Change your Display cable for Certified DisplayPort 1.4 Cable who does HBR3 with 4K@240Hz and your problem will be fix because Samsung send you a Displayport @144hz Flickering = bad display cable , maybe your max is @144hz at 1080p/1440p with your display cable. TRY the same setting with 144hz in nvidia control panel and see if your monitor does the flickering again. Probebly not.
