My wife put a few very deep scratches into the rear door of our car. I used a touch-up pen that was matched to my car to fill the scratches and all was good. I then used diminishing grits of sandpaper, from P1500 to P5000, to blend the scratches with the surrounding paint but this left an area the size of my spread hand that was very flat and looked like it had a very fine mist of white. Panic set in! I used G3 Scratch Remover to cut the damaged area and it brought the paint back to life within two minutes. I'm very impressed with this product.

Wow, that was brave going the sand paper route, it many are that brave!! Great job tho, very impressed 😃👍🏻, and yeah it’s good stuff for sure 👍🏻

It's specifically says do not go round in circles with waffle pads. So might have gone better if done correctly like instructions say....

The best way to use this product, on the first scratch for example....lightly sand(wet n dry) with grade 2000 to slightly lower the surrounding clear coat and therefore reduce the depth of the scratch. Then use G3 to complete the job and also remove the dullness caused from the sanding. Left and right strokes and up and down....not circular as that causes swirl lines.

when i use g3 i dont damp the cloth, seems to work better on the type or scratch you worked on in the video

Zdenek Lanik really? I didn’t find it that bad a product, admittedly, I did have to do a few more passes with the DA than I expected I’d have to! Sorry to hear it didn’t work! Was the scratch quite deep?

FARECLA.I used in the recommended manner and can definitely say what a scam,did not work at all,stick with better known brands. Really feel like I have been ripped off.

Hi, sorry to hear that! i have noticed that it depends on how deep the scratch is as to whether this (or any "shop bought") compound will fix a scratch permanently as they seem to contain a lot of "fillers" that are designed to fill the scratch rather than remove it. Do you have a machine polisher that you could try it with? as a machine polisher would work the compound in to the scratch a lot more aggressively than by hand.
