Gabby certainly has a high opinion of himself considering he was a striker who had a 1 in 5 strike rate, didn't break the 100 goal barrier despite 404 career appearances, won no major honours, played just three matches for England, two of which were friendlies and in all of which he was substituted and who laughably claimed that Aston Villa v Birmingham City is the biggest derby match in British football.
@@sam-ze8bz Shame he wasn't decent in those three matches. The man talks nonsense. You'd think he was Marco van Basten the way he carries on and not a bang average player at Premier League level. He played the same number of seasons at Villa as he did matches in European competition. Thirteen years he was there and not one successful club came in for him.
As much as I love Ruud, I don’t think the new manager would keep him as his assistant. And certainly I would think Ruud’s presence in the coaching staff would definitely help better the level of the attacking players at United!
