It's what gable does, if u notice he doesnt really go for turns and he'll always let u up. But holy hell it takes alot of work to get there, dude puts so much pressure on the arms
Gable DID look a little stiff out there, but that being said that was a great showing by Davison. He got out of multiple situations where Gable would normally score and even got a takedown himself. Certainly nothing to sneeze at.
I was more impressed with all the angles Davison was getting in the first period. He wasn't scoring on them, but I could tell he wasn't there to lay down. He brought his best. If he was intimidated, he only let it make him better.
He dint looked himself but even then he’s too dominant..if you guys take a look around there’s no other heavyweight like him ..gable shoots like a 141 pounder..his ability to finish takedowns and score is crazy
I'm the biggest Gable fan in the world and have been for years he just looked a little worn down in this match for some reason, could be because of the multiple matches. Normally he'd tech this guy. Looking forward to him getting a bonus win in the finals!
Not that I don't think Lucas has a chance, but there are a bunch of other heavyweights that also have a good shot at 1st take Cassioppi for example or even parris or Kerkvliet, just some dominant dudes in the weight class is all I'm saying

Gable looked like he was either worn dkwn and tired for some reason or just not trying if he wrestled his hardest he would tech this guy and either way he killed the guy but good match from davison
@Icemanu are ignorant as hell. No one cares if he wins the NCAA title. He’s already got a Olympic gold medal. A 100% bonus season is far more impressive. He would’ve been the first to ever do it. So yeah it’s a pretty big deal that he lost it

@Franz Fanon Right. mans just won a gold medal - maybe 3 other guys in the ncaa d1 hwt would even make it through the trials. This literally just doesnt take much effort for gable
