they hired a monkey to play the role of John Connor. 1 of main reason why this movie failed apart of having his future character killed by t850 & his wife sent it to past to save herself & John instead. The skynet taking over was awfully done, seriously missing army vs machine scene at the strategic command base. As per actual timeline, there were active humanoid cyborg t600 being put in service while t800 still in prototype stage with working T1, Hunter killer tank and gunship in testing phase. They added tiny version hunter killer vstol drone instead. Another issue is the army base vehicles look more like powerstation or telecommunications staff vehicles. Civilian bell ranger chopper? No blackhawk, little bird?

I like em all..old and new ..dont get why people dislike so much new stuff in every single movies series that gets more content. ITS MORE CONTENT be happy ! beats NO content ! :P Starwars ..even there i was entertained watching em all. I simply ignore those very few moments i disliked. the last movie i heavyly disliked the endfight tho , gotta be honest there. But more about logic rather then if someone is female, gay, femenist or whatever people have issues with now a days. Where sith emperor hade like 100+ gigantic battleship ..and not a SINGLE rebel ship got shot down ... sure they hade no way to target proberly ... but come on .. 100+ ship would ATLEAST hit enough just by pure luck wild firing. they got SO many guns on every single ship, i think its over 100 per ship. So thats 1000 weapons, and not a single rebel destroyed ? THAT anoyed me so much ... then 10min later the rebels are losing ship LEFT AND RIGHT SOOOOOOO fast its just a joke ... and that is AFTER the imperial lost almost every single ship and nearly can fight back anymore . ... that made me quit movie.. i litterly turned it off in pure disgust and anger over how ill-logic that was . I then a few days later turned it on to watch the rest and gotta say not impressed at all haha.

And same with Game of Thrones last season ... i enjoyed it ... the ENDING i disliked ... NO logic at all ... but that was like ONE episode of the entire season i disliked. And still people scream that entire season 8 sucked .

The T 1000 was fully liquid metal and even the Rev 9 's outer portion was covered with liquid metal, but yet they had the average male sized hip and waist

Body characteristics don't have anything to do with terminators acquiring vast increase in capabilities and features with the passing time of skynet's improved technologies. Again, the liquid metal has nothing to do with terminators having slim body shape whatsoever. We've seen 3 terminators already created with liquid metal, but different abilities and body shapes, all from different timelines. The primary function of liquid metals is to regenerate any (if there are) endoskeletons underneath when damaged, making them less destructible to most firearms. It's the plot idea behind T X 's peculiar slim body design since the terminator has to be a "female"

But yeah, you're right on that aspect. A lot of people give T2 a free pass on it's attempts at humor, even though I don't think it really worked in T2 either.
