Ok. When I made these videos, I went about publishing them in a rather confusing way. I made part 1 which at the time I called Act I. But when I made part 2 (Act II) it was getting long so I split Act II into two parts. My thinking at the time was to get the videos released in a timely manner so my small audience could have something to watch. These videos were released back in 2020 before we even reached 1000 subscribers. So technically The End of Evangelion video is the third part.
The Evangelion videos were not originally part of the Gainax-athon as that was started in 2022 with Wings of Honneamise being the inaugural installment. But what the heck. I will just "adopt" Eva into the Gainax-athon.
Looking back on this one I made it so I could explain to my friends and family why this series was actually more comprehensible and straight forward then they probably thought. They watched it on Netflix and loved the first half but were baffled by the rest. I felt it best to explain via a video as I had trouble explaining it to them on the fly. There are portions where I stated the obvious far too often (which I felt was necessary to further explain other points) and my narration could have used some improvement I am quite happy with how this turned out.
