I know you have watched a lot of videos that Have David and Guy in them, but I thought i would share a little tid bit of info for you. I have attended quite a few Gaither Homecoming concerts over the years. I actually got to talk to one of the sound engineers for one of the concerts. He told me that he had been a sound engineer with the Gaither Homecoming concerts for a good number of years, going back to when David first came to the GVB. I asked him about the mic settings he had to use for the group. He told me, that Guy’s and David’s voices were so strong that he had to turn the gains on their mics down to half or less than that for any other member. He also said he had to adjust them constantly during their songs because of their power and dynamic range. Even though they both knew when to pull their mic back from their mouths, Their power will still too much. Bill had to buy new mics when both of them were there because side by side they would cause problems with the others next to them.

Saw this pop up on my RU-vid feed and watched it right away. I have been watching you reacting to David now for 3 years and I Love hearing your comments and seeing the pleasure you get from David - - just like we all do. this popped up in my subscriptions list, and i said...out loud (people at work think i'm nuts)..."oh, yeah, this is gonna be a good one. SO GOOD! he's gonna love it" i've watched this performance dozens of times, and the belting David does coming in solo later in the song causes chills. Lyle is gonna LOVE IT! i'll come back after watching. i bet i will have been right.

Wow, the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Colorado! Could there be a more perfect open-air venue to enjoy a GVB homecoming? Maybe heaven. It had to be awesome sitting under the stars in this natural setting, listening to David sing this magnificent song, filling the air with his perfectly heavenly voice. What a God gifted singer! Dive into the depths of this music and you will discover gems you have never imagined. This music is honey to my soul. David wrote a song called "God Don't Play Second Fiddle," and there is a video of him singing it with the Gaither Vocal Band in the Holy Land. I am old and totally tech ignorant so I cannot supply the link for you. But if you put in the name of the song, the site will pop up. It is the concert where they are in the rocky amphitheater setting. Hope you enjoy it!

You can always depend on David and GVB to have emmaculate vocals, but can we take a moment to appreciate the writing skills of Bill and Gloria Gaither? Those two are anointed writers. I love David but i prefer the Original version witj Michael English on lead with Jim Murray and Mark Lowery and Bill.
