Before Gaius admitted to being fond of Matthew, I always thought he loved Matthew like a son. Even Jesus is happy to know gaius cares for Matthew. Gaius is the only roman I like on the show and I already feel he's finna have a redemption
He has GOT to be the Centurion from Matthew 8. Either that or one of the Roman guardsmen who are at Jesus's tomb when it comes open. FYI, I cannot WAIT to see that scene!
@@MLBedits4U-bc1sp I love my younger sister to death. I'd do anything in the world for her. She does, however, get on my nerves a lot. She makes me want to smack her sometimes. Sibling relationships are complex. You can love your siblings without always liking them.
@@Stardweller1 When I posted this it was still something that seemed like a "likely," yeah, safe to say Gaius is definitely the centurion with the servant.
I love how Jesus knew that Gaius actually cares about Matthew and his well being. He knew that Gaius was starting to believe. That is why he asked about talking to him later in that tone of voice he used. 😊
Wait! What about the part when Gaius talks to Matthew's parents and stops himself short from telling them he admired Matthew? I really enjoyed that part. Gaius and Matthew's relationship was more comedic even though it's supposed to be dramatic. Also thanks for the little "thoughts" sub-titles! They were hilarious!
One of the things I like about Gaius and Matthew was when Matthew spoke about how his father hated him, even Gaius couldn't fathom how a father could hate his own son. Gaius was, like most Romans at the time, very antisemitic and even he felt for Matthew.
Luke 6:27-28 KJV But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, [28] Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
