Me when I heard this in 2010: "Huh, this guy has a good voice. I should look him up." *Never does* Me now, after being in the Vocaloid fandom for years: "Shit that was you, Gakupo!? Why did I never put this together?!"
If I had a plush Marvin the Martian he will say “it is so beautiful! very beautiful indeed! :,D” welp credit to clover studio and Capcom for the Music I like the instrumental version of this beautiful Ōkami music. It’s so beautiful so Japanese nostalgic. 😍
I'm impressed with the grandeur of the lyrics written and sung in the classical language. I really love the "Prayers shall be strength" part. This song is hard to sing, but Vocaloid can do it. :3
I didn't expect this was in youtube two. I tried to translate this in other movie of the sun rises, and here's how it became. Nakatsukuni misonawashime (Watching over Nippon) *Ama terashimasu wareraga jibo yo (Our tender mother who shines sky) Izaya kikoshimese (Now listen to us)*
These are all by myself, and I used google and wiki for how the words in Okami were translated. I didn't use dictionalies much and there're some gramatical mistakes and typo in the translation. Japanese in this song is bit older than I use as a native speaker, but its meaning can be understood easily. So, all I had to was make phrases that means the same thing as the original. When what to translate is in your native language, it's important to paraphrase that into the style easy to do so.
i thank you ^^ i asked for someone to put it on Romaji like an year ago, then i kinda went making the translation myself(as no one had done it by then xD), but couldn't get parts of it still, although i got the gist of it, it clearly looked to me as arcaic japanese form. i still have some doubts, but i'm thankful to you placing the translations and romanization. Been singing this for an year now so i'm happy i wasn't singing wrong! lol Domo arigatou gozaemasu :D
I'm not certain Gakupo is always complimentary to the melody, but at some points he was perfect. I thought I'd got over crying at t3h pretty when I heard 'The sun rises'!
this game isn't called a greatest hits for nothing.it is a traditionally made japanese game.and for a traditional game,THATS A WIN.and they kept the traditional untill ink.this game is art.if you didn't like it,you're heartless.
Can i have this in Romaji plox? on the description box?? x3 i wanna sing it too, but my ear play tricks one me still and my kanji is not very advanced x3
