Thanks for the review. In your experience, are the Buds 2 better, worse, or similar vs the Pros in terms of fit (comfort/security)? I had the Pros and found them quite uncomfortable and not secure at all (plus they gave me a bad skin reaction), and the Buds 2 look very similar so I'm uncertain if I should get them...

I'm going to buy this earbuds soon as they are available in my home town

They sound terrible on my Note 9 with the proprietary Scalable codec, the treble distorts especially when my phone is connected to WiFi. Their way of saying "your phone is too old get a new one". I can change the codec to AAC but it always defaults to Scalable each time I connect the buds.

In my opinion the Galaxy Buds Pros has a bigger sound than the Galaxy Buds 2 but the Buds 2 has a more natural sound in vocals and to me the Buds 2 sounds better at lower listening levels as well and are more comfortable and don’t slip out my ears so easy so I feel like the Buds 2 are a better package all around

The Buds+ are much more comfortable than the Buds 2, and the battery life is so much better. I'm going to return the Buds 2 after only 3 days because they're uncomfortable and fall out easily.

I don't get it why people dismiss buds live for sound quality. In my opinion they are most natural and open sounding buds. If you like closed and bass heavy sound pick any sealed buds. These are unique and music oriented.

I bought the buds pro 2 months ago (almost 3) and after the 2 came out I thought I had made a mistake but after watching this video I realise I made the right decision because the new ones are barely better (also worse in some areas)

I have the Buds Pro and Buds 2. The Pro's definitally have more defintion and depth to the sound for me. What did help me is use different eartips for the Buds 2. I like the comfort of them. The Buds 2 benefit from an eartip with a bigger opening. I'm using the Earfun Free Pro tips and that makes a big difference for me. They absorb some sibilant highs and open up the sound. It does help to experiment with the eartips. I think the Pro's are a better buy though - better sound - ANC - IPX7.

so both the same price now... battery is similar, pros have a better sound and better water resistance while buds 2 are a bit more comfortable and have a better mic... hmmm....

The wind test is flawed. If you get so close to the fan no mics would work. Needs to have some distance to simulate real world.

I finally decided to order Buds2 and was highly disappointed! Sharing an honest review after 2 weeks of usage. 1. Very average bass even after tweaking the settings on galaxy phone and from wearable app, I couldn't pump out any good bass from these. If you're used to JBL sound signature, then you'll highly be disappointed with these. Although the sound is very crisp and clear but does not justify it's price point. They sound average to the entry level segment TWS from any other brands. 2. Active Noise Cancelation is a hit and miss. Most of the times you do not really notice any difference with ANC On or Off.. Only in certain scenarios with wind and far away light noises, gets canceled but it's barely noticeable 3. I connected them with my Samsung Crystal TV and the sound syncing had lots of issues. It would go off sync even when sitting few inches from the TV. Highly disappointing. It would lose connection every time I move my head even slightly. Although connection on phone and laptop seems good enough for about 4-5 meter distance. 4.Highly not recommended for gaming. Even though it has lab feature for low latency when paired with Samsung phone. You will have very bad experience with gaming like PUBG. The delay is highly noticeable. 5. Light weight but they do tend to slip out of ears over time after every 30mins or so. 6. Call quality is good, but misses out voices at times. Mic is good and crisp 7. Ambient sound is actually good. It amplifies loud outside sounds and was surprisingly good 8. Not value for money. Overpriced. I mostly purchased these after watching many RU-vid videos and I would without a doubt say that, those were all paid review videos by Samsung, the way most of them exaggerated it. 9. I bought it on sale for quiet cheap price INR 5999 yet I would say they are not worth that value. I wonder how much regret those people may be having who bought them at original prices 10. Very light weight, compact. Very premium look and feel, specially the case feels like ceramic although its plastic. Decent battery backup. Ps. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5g phone with latest software update, Samsung TV on latest update and also the buds and wearable app on latest update so there is no chance that my devices have problem. Also the buds are 100% genuine and ain't faulty in any ways.

I have the Buds Pro and they're quite bad at calls with wind and/or ambient noise. Funny how they're supposed to be better at those things. Yeah, wind filter, right.
