The Note 20 does NOT have a SD card slot. The part where it goes next to the sim is not cut out of the lil plastic tray bc the regular note 20 doesn't support sd cards only the Ultra

The dark mode as scheduled actually existed on Samsung phones starting with Android 9 Pie Google made it a standard feature for it's phones and all of the others, to my knowledge since Android 10.

Man are you guys lucky. Samsung garanteed you guys an extra year of software support which my note 9 8gb ram version wont get rven though it can handle it no doubt. Absolutely sad. The 2018 galaxy flagships deserve to get their last with android 11.

I use the edge panel daily for different things 😉 Its just become normal bc I've used it for so long I guess lmbo. Maybe I'm just a weirdo 🤭 but all the features that come in the note line is y I'm a note user and have been since Note1. I've had them all but 9 and 10 no fault of my own. I love using all the things Samsung has to offer in the note series makes things fun to do and simple. I can't wait to get my note 20 ultra in hand!

Great suggestion. One question: where's the fire? Remember, you're familiar enough with the controls to manipulate them almost intuitively. Those watching your tutorial are not. I kept having to pause or rewind the video to see what it was you tapped to get the screen you're talking about. Too bad Samsung doesn't number the pages. So we could access them dirstly.

I really hope the battery life is ok. I'm gonna be switching over from the note 9 and I feel the battery life is fine on my device, so I'd hate to get a downgrade in battery life

I love it so far I switched from a Note 9 as well. Got mine Friday morning after work. Still learning new things, and as far as size difference its not that big a deal even with the bulky Pelican case.

Upgraded from the Note 9 Wed night (my Sprint pre-order showed up Wed 19th) after three full days of usage battery life not as good as Note 9 using the same way and same apps as before. Will have to charge it more often. I value speed and performance more (heavy business user) and the 20 Ultra delivers. From everything I read and watched about it I did not expect to get the same battery life as my Note 9. I got it for Sd 865+, UFS 3.0, 120Hz. Performance. And it shows.

I already returned mine. It did go hotter than my s20 doing the same things and died faster. I genuinely think they just overclocked an 865 and called it something else. It just didn't feel like an upgrade for me.

Just what I needed, the ability to change the color of the clock. Decisions, decisions, decisions. If I went through every option setting up this phone by the time I was done and ready to use it I'd be dead already because I wouldn't live that long. I'd prefer, get rid of the black dot on the screen, give me back the 3.5 mm audio output jack, and frankly I'd like to be able to change the battery myself when I need to. If there is no slot for a microSD card as others said then that alone is a deal breaker. Reminds me of the Note 5 which was something I'd never buy. Might go for Note 9.

Most modern flagships will not allow you to disturb the battery yourself. The Note 20 Ultra variant does have SD card support. If you don't care about these changes you don't have to set them up. The phone already comes with many presets out of the box so that you don't have to go down the rabbit hole of settings. This video is more geared towards users who would like to get the most out of their phones using new and advanced settings. Although I must remark it is quite foolish to purchase such expensive phones and not take advantage of the extra features you paid for.

Something that could be a little of an annoyance is the location of Samsung Pay. I had to move it out of the bottom edge as it popped up too often when using the home gesture. You can do that by selecting the 3 dots within Samsung Pay to get to the settings.

@Sky Gardener Lighter weight isn't PLASTIC is the compromise. And as compared to the Note 10+ everything on this phone is a compromise. Lew is a scammer lol just look up his iphone giveaway scams from the older days. Compromises -1080p and 60hz (even the base S20 offers 1440p 6hz or 1080p 120hz) -Plastic back (cheap and nowhere near as good as glass) -No expandable storage

Idk if I missed it or not but I think the previous Note you could use the pen to snap pics....I'm not sure if this does too & I just accidently changed something that now prevents that or if it's just not there now?? Ugh...is this something that you may be able to shed some light on it or no? I think this video will be on a loop for me for a while now. Mine just disappeared one day. If I want to use it I have to find the app and open that way. I gave up on it a couple phones back, but thought I'd give it a 2nd chance. First 3 purchases...says I earned 1 point. 🤨 Haven't tried to use it since.

I have one question. Seeing that you can select your auto fill service. Would it not auto fill on the Samsung Internet Browser as well? Or is it just for Chrome?

Also with the adaptive refresh rate. Does it downscale within video applications to allow to see the highest resolutions? Eg. 1440p in RU-vid if RU-vid doesn't support 120Hz

Samsung Pay does not work at Lowes unless they changed things due to the current state of affairs. Lowes blocks NFC payments on the back end so it will look like it takes the payment but ultimately gets denied.

I also have a 64gb S9 and have been happy with it, I have an absurd amount of photos and videos and downloaded apps and games and am still happy with it...however I did just upgrade to the 128gb Note 20, I'm waiting on it to come in the mail but I can't imagine EVER using that much storage.

I got my galaxy 20 5g from spectrum mobile today. It's already on Android 11 and some of the setting features he talks about in this video aren't available. I'm assuming that is because when this video was made it was on Android 10?
