For real, even my galaxy j5 from 2017 and my galaxy a32 4g, they also have ldac and its enabled by default when I use my Sony srs xb 32 ( a Bluetooth speaker)
If you use a headset that supports Ldac, you will find it in the Bluetooth settings. For instance Sony wh1000xm series go to Bluetooth settings click on the settings icon next to the wh-1000xm headset you will see Ldac toggle
To see the grainy u have to be in a dark environment with close to no light, after which u can open the settings apps or quick panel in dark mode to see the visible grains, according to my knowledge more than 90% of the S24 ultras have this, as for the rest its close to nothing but still exists at some point.
I feel like it's a result of the Gorilla Armor. Because the panel has micro beads that absorb and spread ambient light across the panel instead of reflecting it back at you like a normal display would. What I think is happening is that in very low light conditions with the brightness turned to minimum those same micro beads creat the grain. Honestly people probably shouldn't be using their phones in those situations anyway because it's not good for your sleep cycle
@@joshuabergeman354 i do agree that most users won't notice it as mostly we don't use it in such dark environments, but what about the minority whose occupation or any other needs depends on the usage of phone in this lighting conditions , aren't they getting a downgraded experience? Moreover, how can samsung just justify their fault by saying such a condition is quite normal when paying this much money
@@LKR307 the thing is if my suspicion is correct then it's an unfortunate compromise in order to have a screen that is easily visible in harsh light. Not really Samsung's fault but just a byproduct of the Gorilla Armor glass. And while it's not great for people who have to use their phone in those situations it's not so bad in my experience that it's unusable
@@sankarsaha149 exactly how I feel. It's a very specific case where it is even noticable and for the most part people shouldn't even be using their phones in those conditions because for the most part they should probably be sleeping and not using their phones since that might affect their sleep health I personally think it's just a byproduct of the way the anti reflective screen works and it's good enough that I don't mind that slight compromise
From a braindead consumer. It looks amazing, cheers me up on a downer days. Cheers me up by just looking at it. (Like, 'Yeah, I'm a ballin"). Attention grabbing. Now on my more serious usage. Amazing. The sizing of the 24 Ultra, process power lets me do so much from Spreadsheets, powerpoint and cloud storage management. Multi-app management and usage. Detail photography for photo documenting issues, damage and safety hazards at my job. The AI call filtering almost got me written up, because I made a call at an outside site and my boss thought I was indoors and not where I was supposed to be.
It's already so bulky and not as comfortable as the iPhone bt Samsung is planning to make the screen bigger following the Apple's move...What's wrong with them i donno....It’s already a huge phone may be the widest of all phone. If they boom the screen size to 6.9 then keeping it hand would be like keeping a brick.
Samsung supports LDAC on all of its phones even my old j5 2017 and my a32 4g , and LDAC is not open source codec. Sony owns it , Samsung pays sony in order to use it in its phones.
Unfortunately Samsung refuses to support Dolby Vision in their displays whether it be phones or TVs and honestly it's a bummer when almost all the competitors support Dolby Vision and at that price it is supposed to be master of all trades. Dolby Vision content is also growing rapidly and is not a niche HDR format that was 5-6 years ago. Really disappointing to see Samsung being stubborn instead of thinking about its consumers.
@@sanyam7722 Yeah but Dolby Vision is worldwide standard for any HDR content in any device that supports it. I dont think Samsung has anything like that. Even for Hi-Res audio codecs support, it is a Japanese standard that some phone companies as well as earphones companies comply this standard.
I love Android, especially Samsung. I've been considering getting a new phone, but there's a complete deal breaker for me: I've never been able to get voice commands to work using the Gboard keyboard. Since I dislike the other keyboards available on Android, I don't really have a solution. I've always stuck with iPhone because of this issue. The voice command on iPhone may not be the best-neither as fast nor as effective as on Android-but at least it works. If anyone has a solution that works, I'd be ready to switch back to Android, because the Galaxy S24 Ultra is really tempting me. The only Android phone where I find that voice commands work right out of the box is on Google's Pixels. The problem is that I don't necessarily want a Pixel; I generally prefer Samsung, especially their high-end models. It not only allows me to write much faster to many different people, but I am also disabled, so it's much less exhausting for me to speak than to type long texts by hand.
6:43 the samsung wallet in galaxy S series is severely underrated. I use it to store my cards, and other documents and it's very handy! I use it on day to day basis.
Thank you for yet another excellent and informative review of this phone. I have a question regarding the ability to view photos taken on an Android phone-and of course, videos-on a 4K TV. I’m currently using an iPhone 15, and after my experiences with Android, where I really couldn’t achieve satisfying photo quality on the TV, I’m thinking that the best option for me is probably Apple TV with iCloud 4K or possibly AirPlay. I’m not sure why videos and photos played via Chromecast on the TV from an Android phone are of very poor quality, with heavy compression, and I have the impression that they’re not being played in 4K resolution at all. What do you think about this? Have you encountered the same issue, and if so, how do you resolve it? I would appreciate your response.
No LHDC support, NO LDAC support, NO dolby vision support, still a 8 bit display, still using backdated haptic engine, sensor size of the cameras are too small...I dont know why the youtubers are shut up...why dont they talk about such issues of a phone that costs more than 1300$... Samsung use cost cutting technology on their phone and use the savings to the youtubers to make positive videos on their phones...
And who even cares about dolby vision lol, samsung still has wayy better display than any other phone in market, even mkbhd has tested it. Yall care so much about specs on paper, you ignore the real life application.
@@eg8049 true bro. Samsung is only da one supplies the displays to all players. This apple tried to make their own displays but of no luck. Even LG, but of no luck. I tell u tbh, apple is just hype created by few techies, apple is nothing withoue some paid techies thats it.
Biggest Problem with samsung is claming warrranty if you have any dent which appears on side panel they wont give you warranty. And for that i swiched to Iphone.
I recently purchased a second-hand Vivo X80 Pro smartphone. Unfortunately, a few days after using the device, I noticed a green line appearing on the screen. I visited the Vivo service center to seek assistance, and they inquired whether I had been using the phone since its initial release. I informed them that I had purchased it second-hand. Consequently, they informed me that the display replacement for a second-hand device would not be covered under warranty. If you say yes, I've been using this phone from the beginning, then they will match your ID card to the phone's bill. So please koi second-hand Vivo phone mat Lena Meri pas proof bhi hai
Samsung flagship doesn't support LHDC and LDAC really? 1st time come to know from your video. I have oppo enco x2 😢. Thanks for your valuable information. Also nobody talks about samsung still use 8 bit display on their flagship, also no dolby vision support.
One plus 12 is an excellent design and collb with haselnand is really good job. I like the camera design how it covered with glass and glitters 🪩 inside. Overall this is good wrt price , gui and less blue light design (eye protection by default)... iPhone and vivo are good for camera but gui not user-friendly in iphone which is very imp and I like one plus for it also camera is up to mark for one plus. Those who are photography experts who capture a lot of locations vivi x100 is best and iphone. One plus covers all aspects so I suggest one plus 12.
@@anandraj.p0406 phone smoothness both the same the only difference is for pictures I like s24ultra better and for videos iphone...the only con is video not as good as iphone but I am not saying it's bad but after using iphone 14 pro max for almost 2 years samsung s24ultra video not on iphone level yet

Commenting from my first samsung experience with this new 24ultra...not the best camera, not best charging, not best battery life, not best gaming, not the best at any specific regions, but take all those and mix them up, no other android not even apple phone comes up with this all rounder, i say it its best at none, but not worst either at every corner, so, it is best all rounder phone, which encourage me buy this phone..i loved it and enjoyed using it...✌️😉
@@salimaakil7636 i think online is much better, because there is a lot of offers and i buy this with the extra offer and exchange offer with a great deal, 512 version with 1.2
Just got the phone a week ago. My opinion is that is the best phone on the market right now. You can not kill the battery. Is amazing. The best phone in ever aspect. Really good.
Hi I have s24ultra too and my front camera sucks when I do videocalls in what's app fb discord or anyother the picture quality is so worst all noises except insta and Snapchat I don't like taking selfies with it too it takes very bad selfies I would appreciate if I can see your picture samples
Hey I recently bought it and I just wanted to know one thing Can you put the s pen upside down By upside down I mean when you unboxing for the first time the button is facing downwards meaning it is facing towards the camera (the button is on the back side) Is it reversible meaning can I put the button side up (can I insert the pen where the button is towards the screen meaning the button is on the screens side)
Used premium samsung from last 4 years, observed below things 1) Their display are top notch, still burning your eyes more than other brands 2) Very poor haptics ( and they are not improving) 3) Audio they are not improving 4) Battery draining much more than expected, and after 2 year I observed, we need to charge twice or thrice based on usage. 5) Design of ultra is not at all ergonimic (it hurts palm, sharp edges) 6) Despite same design, and camera, few other brands, like vivo x100pro beats in camera [ SHAME ] 7) Thermals they need to improve more
Please make a comparison video on: OnePlus Nord 3 vs Nothing Phone 2A vs Iqool z7 pro Because prices has changed and are almost at same price now Must declare a tye best Camera and image processing out of 3 Which makes a new uodate on. Est Ohone Under 25000 rs/-
I have both s24 ultra and Mi 14 ultra.. After Using 14 ultra couple of days,s24 ultra looking like a midrange one compared to 14 ultra in all aspects.. seriously 😊
Using s21 ultra snapdragon variant still everything butter butter smooth...no point to upgrade...with 1day battery... After Android 14 camera is super reliable...
Using the S24 Ultra for the past four months, I can confidently say that it is an exceptional phone. The experience has been unparalleled, and I highly recommend it.
I'm planning to buy either S24 or 15 Pro Max in the coming month. I can't make decision yet, I have used Android all my life, but these days i have been eyeing iphones.
I had S23 which unfortunately was stolen last week... I wish I buy one Samsung Ultra series phone one day... it is very true that every android user aspire that one day a Samsung ultra will be in the pocket....
I don't have the grain but banding is an issue on some videos and photos. Agree that Samsung is the most reliable android on all fronts. I just love the photos it takes that I don't even feel like editing them anymore
Ershad you are a reviewer and how can you just ignore the fact that the fast chargers ruin your battery life overtime actually am iqoo 9 user and my phone is hardly giving me 3 hours of SOT because it was 120 watts, purchased it one and half year ago so I love to slow charge my phone rather than destroying the battery and the fact that you people don't even mention once why these flagships don't use fast charging made me think how ill informed you people are. Kindly appreciate medium pace charging
i've been following your work and trakin tech unboxing for almost over 2 years now, and you're one of those people whose video i see the exact minute a notification pops up, i really love your videos Ershad! Keep up the good work!❤❤❤
I'm going to buy a new mobile, samsung s24 ultra or iPhone 15 pro max. What you suggest? My usage : gaming, video editing, camera and smooth performance (like a turbo mode). Also hold that mobile for 5 to 6years if possible😂. Suggest me guys?
If you have that much budget then in my opinion you should wait for 16 PM because a18 pro will have NPU for inbuilt AI capabilities. If you aren't concern about AI then 15PM is enough,
