Galaxy Tab A7 2020: How to Insert SD Card & Format 

It's probably not formatted. I saw the same thing on my wife's tablet. Once you have clicked on "Storage" you'll see a menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen (has 3 tiny dots for the menu). Click on the menu and you'll see a single tab appear, That's the "Advanced". Then just follow the next steps to format the SD. Hope this helps!

Maybe sonia de la paz, you should do some research before making a snide comment because all your comment did was show your ignorance.

The option to format is there; however, to get to that option you need to do it differently than in the video. Here is how you format the tablet purchased at costco in case you need it for the future. 1. Choose settings 2. scroll down to "Battery and Device Care" and select it. 3. Click "storage" 4. Go to the top right and click on the three dots 5. Click "advance" 6. Click "SD Card" 7. Click "format" 8. Finally click "Format SD Card" in the little window that will pop up. Once you do that, the SD Card will start to format and just wait for it to finish formatting. By the way, your comment was not pointless. Others may have also purchased their tablet from costco and may have difficulty. Because you made your comment, I was able to respond to your comment with instructions and now those people who were having difficulty now have instructions. If you had not made the comment some people might still be frustrated and confused. So thank you for the comment. I agree with you that the video is still priceless.

My tablet didn't have the format feature either so you saved me from going into frustration mode trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. , and instead went on to using the storage. Sonja, perhaps a regimen of strong laxatives daily for a month may help to expel the internal pain you are trying to cure with rude remarks.

The pin provided by Samsung is long enough. I just used it with success after watching the video. I was afraid of breaking something which met my previous attempts with failure prior to watching this video. Just have to apply purposeful pressure.

I used a needle, and it inserted itself deeper than required, and just kept going.... so I had to pull out and use a paper clip instead.

How u did it correctly??

@@dhruvvvji Prop the tablet on a hard surface and apply steady pressure. When I tried to do it in my lap or in my hand I couldn't get enough force to open the tray. First try with it on the table and the tray popped open *just* enough to pry it out with my fingernails.
