Love the way you record close up on your hands so I can see the movement and the way to actually fish for flounder, flounder are very specific on how they will be caught , as I am quite sure you already know....great fishing videos.
Another nice video! You're having fun sharing what you love and it shows. Keep up the great work, this is probably one of the fastest growing channels I've seen come out of the Galveston area in a while.
Thank you again for sharing... Everything you caught would make good table fare. I look forward to your next video and 1,000 subscribers is closer than you think. Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya 🎣
I love flounder! Usually go to Captain Tom's here in Houston to eat it... I have 0 experience when it comes down to fishing but I'd like to go and try my luck this year, do you recommend any beginner setup? TIA
If your going to be bank fishing almost any basic rod and reel combo from academy will work. I just recommend at least a medium action rod around 6 1/2 feet and then maybe around a 4000 size spinning reel. Hope this helps and good luck
Great job guys, If I may, I would like to suggest using a wooden or bamboo utensil for your catch and cooks, they will eliminate those scraping sounds and in the long run may prevent you from ingesting some harmful non-stick coatings. I hope that this critique is not taken in the wrong way as I commend your can do attitudes, peace and tight lines.
Thanks for this video. I’ve fished for flounder in California (halibut), Maryland, Japan, and Korea... its crazy how different each culture and region fish for flounder!
Subbed a couple of days ago, I've really been enjoying the content! Well done my man. I'm in central Florida east coast so the tips are much appreciated.
that "channel" is more for boat traffic right? I anchored my kayak there a couple of times, got some dirty looks from boaters like i'm fishing in the middle of highway or something.
I will add a link in the description, Its just from academy! The only thing you have to watch out for with the net is to make sure you put the lanyard back on after pulling it from the magnet, I'm still getting used to it and have found it floating away several times! lol
Before Outdoors do y’all ever meet fans while your down there? I’ve never wade fished. I’d love to learn it. I’ve been trying to get down to Galveston SP to launch there just haven’t had time
JoeA Lewis I recommend on buying a Hook n Line map of west bay and it will have everything you need to know. It shows Wading spots, kayak spots and the best months to fish it.
