My guess that New Sun Gambit is what Gambit could have been if Remy did not accept Mr. Sinister's offer to perform surgery on himself to control his powers.
2 things. 1st, I wish we could see a version of Gambit who goes to Professor Xavier to help with his powers instead of Mr. Sinister. 2nd, I'm curious if reality bending powers like those of Franklin Richards or Scarlett Witch would be able to work against New Sun Gambit. It would be interesting to see.
Basically. He was so powerful that he mistakenly killed everyone on earth by burning threw them & exploding the earths surface. Hence why they call him the New SUN.
More powerful in all actuality. I'll always classify him as Beyond Omega Level because he was so terrified of just how strong he could become that he nerfed himself and he STILL is one of if not the strongest Alpha level mutant in the world.
Gambit hides a lot i got comics where he was fast even to close line quicksilver. Catch hawkeyes arrow charged it and threw it bac before hawkeye could move. Draw with Spiderman and Daredevil, who couldn't touch him and was op for blade. Beat the life outta wolverine. Thats all without piece of brain
@@VBRichB it's when the character becomes slowly more powerful over time. Especially because of writers not getting familiar with the history of the actual power level of the way the character was supposed to actually perform. Iceman is a perfect example of this. At first he could freeze something about the size of a house all at once.. Then he started to be able to freeze a building, next he was able to freeze a city. It's a problem because it makes stories too boring because heroes can just blast their enemies to hell and that's the end of the issue.
@@faith4657 an alpha level mutant is when the mutant has full control over their powers, and could pass for regular humans. An omega level mutant is when a mutants power has an undefined upper limit if they learn to make full use of their powers. Technically, gambit Isn’t either, because his eyes are black and red, so he’s a Beta level mutant. Beta level mutants are mutants who can pass as humans from a far, but there are differences if you look closely. Think Wolverine’s bones, Cyclops’s and Gambit’s eyes, and Rouge.
@emperior5710 so it's like a small different types all determined by the level of mutation they have? OK, what about those with an outward mutation. And you think Magneto, despite being omega level, would be sort of an alpha lvl mutant.
@@faith4657 Those with an outward mutation that can’t hide the fact they are mutants, such as Nightcrawler and Beast, are Gamma level mutants. These levels can also refer to their strength. Gamma and betas are a lot less controlled and considered less powerful , while alpha’s are fully in control, and Omega is essentially any of the other classifications but their powers could reach a level of beyond the others could. Looking at magneto, his power would seem like Alpha level due to his appearance, but there are is no end to the creative ways to use magnetism. If he wanted to, he could flip the earths poles, and have the planet hurled into the depths of space. It’s that level of power and control that makes him an omega level mutant.
Top three favorite X-Men. From the bayou. A super who lived close to me. Within 9 hrs driving such a big thing for me as the only southerners on TV is racists and jokes when I was younger.
@@laoenkmWhoever is running that channel has NO idea what they are talking about. Gambit is an Alpha level, who had Omega level potential but chose to limit it in order to control his powers.
He’s not even close to the most powerful unless you talk about his alternate version with all his limiters removed but even then he falls short cause the X-men have some members who are literally only beaten by plot
@@Yin12356Yang Pretty passive aggressive there for someone being proven wrong. 😂 It's not about the fan service, he's simply explaining the characters abilities. Remy's natural state is that of an Omega level mutant. Due to Mr. Sinisters lobotomy he's simply an Alpha level.
I'm not watching it until they bring him back. He didn't have to die to become death in the comics. Bring Gambit back immediately. Once he comes back, I will binge watch, but i will not watch another episode until then.
@kthebarbarian8223 nah. Like I said I'll catch up once he come back but until then nah. Tired of the Gambit disrespect. I stopped watching dragon ball cause of the vegeta disrespect. I like what I like
@@boofogle I honestly thought they should have dropped Goku & Vegeta after the Cell saga. It's clear that Gohan was a much more well rounded character than both & was much more of a hero than both. Unfortunately Toriyama was too afraid of the fan backlash if he dropped Goku, so now we're left with an uninteresting rehash over & over of Goku & Vegeta's rivalry. So instead of getting a cool fleshed out anime following the life of Gohan from highschool student superhero to husband & Dad, we get Goku & Vegeta endlessly training for tournaments and rehashed rivalry over 25 years. 😂
