Rangers special teams have been extinguished this series, which was supposed to be their advantage this round. Only one power play goal this entire series. We can't keep having our players saying "We'll forget about this game and go onto the next", maybe they should remember the last 2 games and figure out that igors being stranded out there.

I feel bad Shesty. He is being outrageously good throughout the playoffs and the team lets him down again.

Series is over. On the bright side maybe we can finally get rid of this core and stop scapegoating the coaches

Kreider is no Messier. Fox is no Leetch. And this ain't 1994. This team is a fraud. Thank God I was a teen when the Rangers last won the Cup and remember it well. Because this core just ain't it. You described them perfectly with one word: SOFT! That doesn't cut it when you get into the deeper rounds. This is why it was crucial in 1994 for the Rangers to make the trades they did even though they had the best record in the NHL when they made them.

it feels like this is the end. my mind being as depressed as it is right now does not want to watch game 6 or if they get lucky 7. it just feels like every year its the same ending. walking away seems like the choice to make right now. but my heart wont let me. i belong in blue and i have to stay and watch no matter now bad the ending is every year. but i am tired of seeing it.

Man Florida is just a team built for the playoffs…they play that hard in your face style of hockey that just wares teams down…let’s see how game 6 goes but it’s gonna take a big boy effort from the rangers if they wanna extend the series

I will say that I think this was their best played game this series, despite the loss. Aside from a few moments in the 3rd, they never got caught for too long in the D zone and actually sustained some pressure of their own, but they passed way too much to set up a perfect shot. The defense also had a complete lapse on the Panthers first goal. PP is a sinker on the team this series, Igor keep the team in the game, the obvious stuff. Hopefully Kreider and Z getting some points in this game will wake them up for game 6. Just got to pull out all the stops as there's no tomorrow if they lose.

Just gonna stick this here for the doubters. The year was 1994 and even then I felt the way I feel right now. From on cloud 9 to planning for the worst….and then….magic. This isn’t 1994 and I’m not lulled into thinking that any team is ever destined to win the most difficult championship in sports but the point is when ESPN shits on the Rangers (as they do so well) and talks about the 79% chance of Florida taking the series since they are up 3 - 2, I know that teams have done it, it is not impossible, and every game in the playoffs is a different game. So until it’s 4 - 2 and Florida is booking travel arrangements to Dallas or Edmonton, I’m gonna don my Messier jersey and I’m gonna scream Let’s Go Rangers ! That’s what a hockey fan does!

They were outplayed in just about every game. Their stars didn’t disappear unfortunately we have players that don’t show up for the entire series. When the games are physical the bread man will ghost.

If not for Igor being a 100x better than Freddie Anderson. They lose to the canes last round in 6 maybe even 5. Also so right about the team being skilled but not enough toughness. Bennett and Tkachuk are great players and grinders that hit and can take a hit. I say Panthers finish it in game 6.

We need everyone and I mean everyone mainly our players that play soft, MIKA KRIEDER LAFFY PANARIN ALL DEFNESE we need physicality and we need to play the body a lot more . To many soft defensemen and soft offensemen that can’t happen when the whole panthers team is bullying us . If we don’t come out hitting and I mean the whole game 6. This will not be the team to win us the cup in the next few years

the scariest part is that they are literally playing like absolute crap all series and still only down 3-2. Bread is nowhere to be found. Zibanejad is nowhere to be found. Fox same story. in 1994...in Game 6 on the road, the Messier Guarantee game, the first 2 periods the Devils dominated them and Richter stood on his head. then Messier Rangers exploded in the 3rd. Game 7, which NYR dominated prior to that stupid Zelepukin goal with 8 seconds left in regulation, they won in Double Overtime

I FULLY expected this to be a 7 game series, but..........................I also expected the Rangers to man up and AT LEAST TRY to match the Panthers aggressiveness. I haven't given up hope, although they've given NO REASON to believe they can compete with Panthers! 15 Periods of regulation hockey and it's 12-1-2 in favor of Florida! IF we do not win this series Drury MUST make BIG changes. CANNOT come back with Mika, Bread, Miller, Trouba, Fox, Kakko......some MUST GO!

I mean in my opinion rangers are the third best team in the eastern conference. They have proven that they are not truly better than Carolina and Florida even though they can beat them often and steal games. Rangers are a phenomenal team and generate great chances, but these longer series really show these teams are better and more complete, where they dominate in shots, zone time, many aspects… Do or die so let’s hope the boys can pull it off…

Florida is just the better team. I said before the series they aint winning and my dad looked at me like im crazy. 94 they were down 3-2 to jersey in the conference finals. Question: How do you not make a serious push for a second and possibly third goal after the great Kreider SHG with Reinhart on his back? Question: How does a team that dominated third periods all year come out in the third tonight like that? The Game was 1-1 your at home and its a tied ECF 2-2. Question: Why do you tell a guy like Rempe to basically stand down and not be the guy from the outdoor game. Why is he not agitating and going after Jerk offs like Tkachuk and Okposo and Rodriguez? Rangers have to clean out a big part of the team in the off-season. Trouba, Wennberg, Wheeler, Gustaffson, Roslovic, Kakko, Ruhwedel, and yes, Zibanejad (buy out his contract, he just stinks in the playoffs), should all be gone. Incorporate Jones, Rempe, Edstrom, Brodzinksi, and Othmann more into the lineup, while also having the available cap space to get a free agent or two. This team needs smart players with speed and strength. Otherwise, it will be the same ol same ol for many years to come.

The Rangers are simply not built to win a Stanley Cup. Their top players are too easily pushed off pucks...(soft)...Look at the Golden Knights last year...The Panthers and Dallas this year,...and look at the top players of the 1994 Rangers team...and the early seventies Bruins who used to pushed Ratelle and Gilbert around. Zibanejad is a light weight and Panarin is what?..160 LBS? Trouba and Fox have been god awful. It will end Saturday night.

Refs stole it. BS trip call on Miller, no call on the big slash on Trocheck's breakaway. negating a 5 on 3 after they ran the goalie when every Florida player on the ice went into the scrum and they've done that constantly all series without calling it once. A 3 PP swing 4 minutes into the second period including a 5 on 3 is game-deciding in a 1 goal game.

Not cool when you turn on your team. Getting too high when they win and too low when they lose. Good chance it will go 7.

Same old garbage 5v5 play is garbage when you camt forecheck and cycle the puck in the ozone you will lose and when you spend 95 percent of the game dedending cause all 4 lines create no offense again you will lose this team relys in the powerplay and goaltending ans thats a recipe for disaster as.you can tell. Series is not.over but if mika and kreider I'll put panarin in there as well even though i think at least hes trying maybe alittle to much which is making his play erractic at times and making him turn the puck over drury nees to figure out what he wants to do with mika and kredier i watch them play and theres nothing there no emotion no urgency mika has been garbage all year and he hasn't done a dam thing all series for 1st line center who makes 8.5 million a year he needs to be your best player and hes not and its unacceptable.
