The story of the ups and downs of one of the oddest moments in baseball history.
When you allow for ties, prepare for the consequences.
Apologies in advance for the audio quality, still figuring out audacity, my mic is mediocre, and I tend to slur my words at times. I will get better in the future.
All music is from Gran Turismo 3, except for the ending song, which is a Lions Cheer song from the 70s.
I do not own any of the clips used in this video, all clips are used for educational purposes, as is protected by the Canadian Copyright Act.

The end of Game 8 happened on the exact same day as the Mets won the 1986 World Series in the US.

Seibu Lions Stadium was really a beautiful ballpark, the most lovely in Japan, until they plopped an ugly roof over it. It's too bad.

This series was also (technically) a reverse sweep, as after the first game ended in a tie, the Carp won three, then lost the next four. Wow. The other "reverse" sweep in 1989 merits a video as well, IMO. :D

Overwatch League is good example to explain tie in KS or NS.

Kimiyasu Kudoh on the left, Koji Akiyama on the right. It was definitely an oversight not to label those, but hey, it was my first video and I was still learning.
