I lack some information .. is the texture bake at the end of the vidéo ? Is there any extra step ? Do i need To apply modifiers before the bake on the high poly ? And after that.. when i am gonna rig my low poly , do i need To joint all those pièce ? I am building a space ship dit 19million poly and 234 pièces.. I Will make a lowpoly thats why i am here.. but do i need To joint all pièce thats dosent move together ? And do i need To texture/material before the bake ? What is the real workflow to the end ..from high poly to low poly .from baking bump and material and aplying modifiers.rigging multiple objet or joint them before ?am so lost lol all i know is that i am out of gpu 12700k i7 12core. 3080ti rtx 12gig. 64gig ram.. Trying To make ultra realistic starwars dog fight in ultra realistic environnement like canyon .cant even render both in same time lol too much poly .. is there à discord somewhere ? I've a question. I have a 3D model of a car with high poly count and also a low poly count, can I bake a normal map for the whole of the car? Or should I bake a normal map for every single part of it? I'm new to baking so idk what to do. Thanks.
You need to name all parts accordingly, so then software like Mamorset can detect which piece is which. You bake one map, but Mamorset will bake all parts one by one, better quality and fewer artifacts.
