It's funny/sad to see you guys get so upset that "in this show the good guys always get it". Welcome to reality. Look around the world. Putin, one man, a disgusting monster is killing hundreds o thousands, and yet he has millions still supporting him. And the list goes on and on and on. In our real world evil people who kill millions often live to a ripe old age, while their hard working innocent victims die horrible miserable deaths. Rarely are bad guys taken down early, like Hitler. Most, like almost every Russian leader, North Korean leaders, African leaders, business men, the vast majority of evil people who torture and kill millions through their actions live rich, powerful, and die from old age. Even cancer doesn't touch them. Think of how many people in your life/work that have died from cancer, versus how many evil leaders have died from cancer. I can't think of a single evil leader to have died from a disease, While personally I know of dozens of really good honest people who have suffered and died from all kinds of things. Sadly this is reality, and outside of dragons and whitewalkers GOT is extremely realistic. There is no fairness in our world. Bad people rule. Because we good people let them. Look how much you guys love Jaime, after what he did to Bran. Or Deanery's who is clearly impulsive and dumb. Makes terrible decisions, is arrogant, and emotionally driven with no logic causing suffering without even realizing it.

Yeah Robb was eager and brave but he was also reckless and selfish. He was winning the war until he got to the twins.

Interesting that the send them on theses different paths in the show. In the books, robb was injured after a battle, and was vulnerable because he just heard about the death of his brothers, and talissa "jayne westerling" was taking care of his injuries... He ended up getting he pregnant, and married her more because of duty than love.

Qyburn's a great character but I think they've both misinterpreted his philosophy. He's essentially a mad Nazi doctor who used to experiment on people.

He is an interesting character for sure

No surprise. Qyburn is always been like for his loyalty. He's one of the most loyal character in Game of Thrones

Yeah, I actually like Qyburn over all. Sure, he helps Cersei do some crazy things, like resurrecting the Mountain, but I feel like his choices are not borne of malice or evil, but based on his loyalty to serving Cersei. He's a genius, really, and Cersei helps him to achieve his goals in his scientific curiosity so he helps her to achieve hers, regardless of the morality of any of these goals.

I thought Rhaegar was from Rhaego, her unborn child

Dany has a very complicated relationship with Viserys. She recognises that he did look out for her and that she knows her history and about her family because of him. But he was also cruel and frightened her. She named Viserion as a way to kind of honour him but to also for the dragon to be MORE than Viserys was (kinda redeeming her brother in a way)

Yes, and Shae was from Lorath. Pudgey got the cities mixed up, but it's hard to keep track of everything.

I've always enjoyed the chemistry between Davos and Melisandre, especially because the characters are in complete opposition to their real life counterparts. Any interviews with them together is pure joy.

Well… every time a Targaryen is born, the gods flip a coin.

We dont know if Daemon and Laena wed in Pentos, or how long they were staying there for (probably at least before Laena's pregnancy... altho could be in the first trimester probably). If following the book, they should have spent a lot of time in Driftmark, where Rhaenyra and Laena became very close and flew together a lot. (I still wish we saw more of that time....)

@@ChrysalysMoon It was implied. My point is Spartan clearly has a preference for badass characters, not that Joffrey ever was that. But he is also quick to call out characters who seem to lack courage as little bitches. Hence, between a nice guy who in Spartan's eyes is a bitch, and a vicious character who is not a bitch, at least in some situations, Spartan clearly leans on the latter.

This is one of the main reasons I love this channel

​​@@daekry that's not all there is though, tywin humiliated and belittled tyrion their entire lives and then went and slept with the woman tyrion was in love with, also just like tyrion himself said, tywin KNEW he was inocent and was fine with beheading him all the same, yes cersei was deadset on it being tyrion's fault but at least in her case it was bc she GENUINELY believed he had killed her son, tywin was just happy an opportunity finally fell on his lap to able to kill/ get rid of tyrion

When recast one has to wonder just how far ahead actors take work. The 'original' obviously had several scenes and had not been written out meaning there should have been options for future work. Not bashing the new actor, just saying . . . .

The Hound wasn't officially Kingsguard, because he wasn't a Knight, so he couldn't be part of those Seven. But yes, he was guarding Joffrey as a Prince and then as a King, until he quit. A Kingsguard is committed to that position for life.

Remember, the Hound was injured at the time and slowed down from the infected bite, Brienne is very strong and a good fighter but a fully fit and full strength Hound, in my opinion would beat Brienne.

I don't like Spartan dismissal of Pudgey's comments (verbal and non-verbal). She's an angel to let these constantly slide, and she s often right.

Book spoilers (for what happens to Mance in the books; the show went a different route): *edited to fix a mistake mentioned by @Mic-Mak Stannis orders Mance executed, but Melisandre uses magic to make it look like Mance is executed when really it's someone else. Then Mance gets sent to Winterfell to save Arya (who’s actually Jeyne Pool) from Ramsay. Jeyne and Theon escape but Mance is captured, and Ramsay writes Jon a letter offering to trade Mance for “Arya” to strengthen Ramsay’s title as Lord of Winterfell

@@toze2145 Not in the book. But they added it in the TV show. Cercei asked her during the siege of King's Landing : "And when did you leave Lorath?" Shae seemed surprised. Cercei smiled and added : "I had a lorathi servant once..." or something like that.

Robb had the benefit of watching his father rule justly in the north practically all his life. Dany moved from slave city to slave city with her horrible brother.
