It is true, there is not a single similarity between him and his character, they are entirely different. I'll also like to not that he is also one of the best actors I've seen.
People take it way too seriously. Even Lena Headey (Cersei) has mentioned in interviews that people skip her for autographs during comicons because they hate her character so much and how people stop her at times saying they hate her :(
I don’t really understand that. You watch a show, then go out of your way to find who plays him and go, “yeah he’s a sicko.” I almost don’t believe it, rather comical.
He is like the most wonderful and nicest boy, when he is "himself". But when he is in his role, as Joffrey - he is just the most evil thing/guy ever! I wonder how it is to see him act, when their are/were filming. Great actor!
+Mari741s Couldn't agree more. I've been lucky enough to see Jack act live twice, with his theatre company, last time only 3 days ago. He's honestly one of the best actors I've ever encountered. His skill goes beyond measure - even when playing characters that aren't as hateful as Joffrey's. He was born to act, but with his intelligence and talent, it seems he can do whatever.
This is so cool. This scene IS really great because I think it's one of the first and last time Joffrey is likeable and their relationship is still sort of cute. I think it makes the drastic change feel that much worse, it's great
Oh man, that would actually be perfect. And assuming they get to do the whole series, with all the character development he would come out looking pretty good.
i LOVE dvd commentaries. i am so disappointed when shows decide not to do them...'dexter' 'episodes' and 'skins' being a few that would have great commentary, i feel
