“I thought this was the first time we can get a win” What did Ramsey tell Theon? “If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention” Great episode in one of the greatest seasons of TV history… WAIT UNTIL NEXT EPISODE I AM TOO HYPE
@@StaySharpTho yep! The book that s3 and s4 based on is literally like mid season finale! It's closing chapter of first half of the story. So is s4. Arya going on her own jon becomes men I'd say, sansa learning to play her cards, war of five kings finally over.
@@jondishmonmusicandstuff2753 This response doesn't make sense to me. There are things that happen which are considered to be good. If there weren't any, people would actually stop watching and it would be incredibly predictable. There's no reason why this couldn't have been one of them.
Oberyn was going to win clearly but his rage distracted him , he also wanted to get a confession out of the mountain so that they could rebelled against the lanister , especially Tywin .
What's funny is Pedro character in the Mandalorian never takes off his helmet , I guess Tyrion was right when he said you could atleast wear a helmet lol .
Hahahaha, your reaction to Oberyn "taking down" the Mountain only to then have the reverse Uno card play out was priceless, thank you. I always wish that Oberyn had remembered the real reason he was fighting the Mountain in the first place. Of course, I admire him for thinking of his sister when the fight first started, but focusing too much on it once the Mountain was on the ground is what cost him. Super gruesome death. Still can't even really look at it fully when it happens. Wonderful acting for this character by Pedro Pascal. Thanks for the reaction!
@@harsh_1910 Oh definitely! ... If it wasn't a trial by combat situation. But he told Tyrion "I will fight for you" and then basically forgot about him once the fighting started.
@@kaiielle it's a dick move but it's fair he has no reason to really care about tyrion, and I think it was obvious to all parties that him fighting as tyrion's champion is just a means to an end for him so he never really fights for tyrion which is how it makes sense S6 spoilers Thankfully he isn't like davos where he for some reason just cares about him and isn't there because it's the right thing to do
@grumpyunicorn3069 exactly. Some people think she's laughing simply because her Aunt died, but she's laughing because the Hound failed at getting paid to deliver her safely.....again.
I feel like the story about the beetle-killing cousin is basically the analogy to the Gods of the GOT world. Like, they are vicious and just kill left and right for no apparent reason. RIP Oberyn.
@@balonbuckley1025 since the first line is like "we should head back" I'd rather think its one of the too other ranger for waymar was so determined to go further
Someone did post a spoiler, in a reply to the very first comment up top. At this point, it may not matter because I think he's seen the episode by now, but it's been there for 3 months so 🤷♀️
I don't think Jorah's spying was "just a small part of season one." His spying led to the argument between Robert and Ned which led to Jaime being able to attack Ned since he wasn't Hand of the King at the time.
Daenerys: If you’re found in the city by break of day I’ll have your head thrown in Slavers Bay. Jorah: Hey why don’t I go eat some hay, I can lay by the bay, and make things out of clay, I just may, what do you say.
The first time I watched this, I felt sick for three days. Not only for the gruesome death, but also because once again one of my favorite characters dies.
Sansa harks back to the very first scene we see in GoT, where there is a young, cocky commander, Weymar Royce who doesn't heed the older, more experienced man's advice. Such is the Night's Watch. High born automatically elevated.
one of the most frustrating moments in TV history, because if Oberyn kept his cool, this would've unironically been another boring Thursday afternoon for him ... like ... EASY MODE ... he played with Gregor ... smh
"i have a strong feeling oberyn will win" It's almost like it wouldn't be game of thrones if oberyn won. You can't be a sweet summer child 4 season in. The Sansa Baelish scenes, some of the most intriguing of this amazing season. The acting from both is too good.
Not quite, They have still been in their ancestral castle, "the Dreadfort" until just now moving to Winterfell. Remember the conversation between Walder Frey and Roose Bolton right after the Red Wedding, Frey asked if he'd move to Winterfell, and Bolton replied with "Someday, perhaps." Now is the time they finally decided to move, but they have been in their house castle until just now.
lol loved your reaction to this one. so excited for you to see 409. it's the penultimate episode so no surprises there. despite ranking 12th best on IMDb (theyre all pretty tightly clustered), for me it's GOT's best.
i thing the best part of episode is the interaccion betwen tyrion and jaime ,nobody see the messege behind , tyrion is incapable to damage a litttle bettle
Tyrion and his "Shaggy Dog" story about the beetles with no useful ending at all. Do you remember the name of Rickon's dire wolf? The last minutes of this episode shocks everyone, yet most reactors also include at least some of Tyrion's monologue/questions.
