Robert Baratheon may be rude, crude, and vile, but I do like how straightforward and brutally honest he is.

The thing about trial by combat is that if you ( or your champion ) win, then you are free to go because the gods are ( assumed to be ) on your side, therefore you must be innocent of the charges. Also the book that ned is looking at “the archives” states that all the Current kings family have had black hair but the kings son ( joffery ) , has golden hair.

I'm looking forward to this and once we get to episode nine. Well it's going to be a shocking ride.

A few spoilers below, but I think you might have missed some important and subtle details. Ned Stark was looking up the hair colour of Baratheons (the King's family). It was always black. He had an inspiration after his daughter mentioned the blond hair typical of Lannisters. No spoilers, but remember - they didn't understand much of genetics back then, so this was something quite difficult to grasp. A few more things you may have missed. Jaime Lannister is not just Queen Cersei's secret lover. He is actually her brother, in fact a twin (born at the same time). That's why they both have blond hair. Incest (sex with relatives) is disgusting now, but it's also disgusting in this fantasy world. But it happens. Now what do you think would happen if two blond haired people have kids? The last thing to remember is that Jon Arryn (the dead friend of Ned, thought to have been poisoned to death), was looking at that very same book Ned is now studying, with the same ideas. Now you should be able to figure everything out.

When Daenerys/Kaleesi saw she didn't burn her hands she understood she was the legitimate heir of the dragon/Targaryen family. At that point her brother was useless and moreover instable and stupid with a war incoming. Because they're marching on the lands to get the seven kingdoms, since the Iron Throne belongs to the dragon family and was forged by a dragon itself I don't wanna spoil it of course, but what's coming in the serie is epic and huge.

Haha the kings son is joffrey barathian the kid with blonde hair who is supposed to marry the sansa stark(daughter of ned stark). She said she wants to marry him and have kids with beautiful "blonde hair" which made ned stark think of something because he visited the kings bastard sons and they all had black hair and then looking at the book of history he notices all of the Baratheons have black hair as well so that is a strong gene they all share but joffrey is the only one with blonde hair which means is he actually the kings son or did the queen Cersei Lannister have it with someone else and we know she was sleeping with her brother haha

Very good and perceptive, for the most part. Just a few things worth noting: 1) Dragons *did* exist in the world of GoT, but (with the exception, seemingly of the ones within these eggs) they are now extinct. The Targaryen kings famously rode on dragons and were associated with fire, therefore Daenerys, as their descendant, can handle the dragons' scorching eggs without blistering her skin while her maidservant, a non-Targaryan, can't. 2) Theon (the one who said, "It's not my house" and shot that thief with an arrow) is a ward of House Stark. This means he's raised *almost* like a member of the family, but that he's essentially being kept as a hostage to ensure the good behaviour of his own people, House Greyjoy of the Iron Islands. This did indeed happen in Mediaeval Europe between feudal nobles, when one triumphed over another in battle. 3) Ned Stark is reading a document that recorded Robert's ancestors, implying that male Baratheons had the dominant gene each time, by giving their children black hair. However Joffrey, the current heir to the throne, has golden hair. At that point Ned understands that the rumours of incest between Cersei and her brother Jaime are true, that Joffrey is not truly Robert's son and that he is a Baratheon in name only.

I think maybe you missed in the beginning episodes that all the dragons were gone from the world. The Targaryens started keeping them in chains and locking them up in the dragon arena. As a result, they grew smaller and smaller, the last being as small as a cat. After that, they could no longer hatch eggs. The eggs Dany has are from a story told via the books. 300 years earlier, someone snuck off with 3 dragon eggs during a very dark time for the Targaryens, it may have been the sister/sister wife of the King, people with more knowledge of the lore would know. She took them to the opposite side of the world and left them in the Shadowlands beyond Asshai (an area I believe is on the opposite side of the very country (continent?) she is now in - but its a very dangerous place). You hear at her wedding that the eggs were found there from the benefactor who's been taking care of her and her brother for years and gifted them to her. Those eggs were known to be there by very few people and only those who studied history thoroughly and had the ability to trust a myth would look for them. They were purposefully given to Dany at her wedding. It was thought they may have turned to stone over time, but dragons are magic and those trying to make the world a better place knew if magic could exist once, it could again. Dany was chosen as the future hope for Westeros. King Robert is doing a crap job and his son is a psychopath. Top people who work in the shadows are trying to do what is best for ALL the people, not just the rich. They are worried about the little people, the poor, the sick, those who have nothing... because winter is coming. I recommend so much that when you finish, just start watching the series again. You'll see so much you didn't realize and maybe you'll see some heros were never heros, just dumb men who put too much power in the thoughts of honor. We'll talk more about that when you finish episode 10! They also don't really get into in much in this season, but Theon Greyjoy is the last living son and the heir to the Iron Islands. His father started a rebellion (remember, as Tyrion said, a stupid rebellion) and all his older brothers were killed. Ned Stark took Theon from his father to raise in his own home. He definitely ends up making some mistakes in this series, some bad ones, but he would have been a completely horrible person had he been raised by his father. The Iron Islands are a harsh place that tends to raise harsh people. But people keep pointing out to Theon that he is not a Stark and it is quite a sore point to keep bringing up. So, when he and Rob are having that conversation in the woods watching Bran ride his horse and Theon is making that call for action, Rob throws out another "this isn't your house." That is why Theon walks off without a care and says "Its not my house." Theon considers those people his family so the constant slaps in the face hurt more than the Starks know, but he always shows up when Bran really needs him. Just a fun fact, when Dany is eating the horse heart, its actually a gummy candy heart prop. Between all that and the fact that she's covered in that fake blood.... when she gets to take a real life break and use the bathroom, she ends up glued to the toilet, literally. Emilia Clark was actually glued to the toilet due to that scene! They had to get people in there to get her unstuck. Can you imagine how embarassing that would be??
