I came back a year later to rewatch all of the nerd soup revisited episodes

This is my 2nd time through... I’m thinking of rewatching the show again, but for many reasons, sometimes the plot/locations/names/connections fly over my head. So this is like a cheat show to help appreciate the minutiae of details when I watch the show proper.

Fourth time through, can't watch GoT anymore because of the ending so I relive the glory through these videos.

umm, TWICE? amateur! lol These recaps have come to mean so much to me (it's a very long story, but I randomly found this channel at a particularly rough point in my life a couple years ago and the joy I got from them really lifted me), since it doesn't take me much effort to do, I've actually bothered to save all of the recaps as files offline just in case the freak event that RU-vid removes them, I can still watch.

Nah. He's not SUPPOSED to be especialy good. Nobody ever even thought he was until Ramsay had that one line. Even if Ramsay was even telling the truth, why would anyone in the North be saying ANYTHING about Jon as a swordsman? What would they even know about it? This crap came out of nowhere. One minute Jon is just another character, the next they give him all the hero shots cus there's a lot of money from all the 14 year old girls who like him because he makes them all tingly downstairs, and who can't see that he's a boring predictable character, played by a boring wooden actor. This Jon worship is seriously one of the very worst changes from the books

@@user-jb7ep1eb8g with Hagrid it was sort of a mixture, when he's right up close it's trickery. In fact there's plenty of shots where if you really look at it, when he's more in the background of a scene, it's actually rather poor looking CGI, like he barely looks human. I believe it was also a mixture with Thrones. I remember hearing them talk about how difficult the logistics were of matching behavior of a dog on an LA soundstage with actor blocking somewhere in Europe at the same time. That that was the detriment just as much as CGI costs were.

It still stings to this day and Dany isn’t even in my top five faves. I was so upset I can’t put it into words - so much was wrong with that episode it would take so long to explain lol
