You know, I really have no idea how to accurately do that one. If I do that in the future, I'm going to have to make clear it's a total guess. I'd assume he'd still die somehow, but not sure. Excellent idea
@masonpatterson7384

TheBattProductions My main question is: would she still be the mother of dragons? She joined the eggs on Drogo's funeral pyre basically in attempt to kill herself, even though she had reason to believe she would be fine. if she had the baby, would she still jump on the pyre? If she didn't, how would that affect her relationship with her dragons? Would she still be considered "the mother of dragons" if she wasn't there for them to be hatched?
@angelwhispers2060
@angelwhispers2060 7 лет назад
+TheBattProductions his daddy would still die. but with the baby alive his Khalisar would stay for the heir. Dany would put the baby in the arms of her most loyal servant and walk into the funeral pier anyway. so we still got dragons and their group would then gain alot of defectors from other Horse Lords. he should live until after Dany has conquered slavers bay
@Gloriomono
@Gloriomono 7 лет назад
no, that scenario would not play out. a horse lord is not a king and the Dothtraki don't follow a man, who cannot ride a horse. I don't remember that from the show, but in the book it was a larger plot point, that baffled Dany herself, that she had to actually fear for her child's life, once Drogo dies, since some of the riders who were about to defect and become horse lords them selves just stuck around to quickly kill "the stallion who mounts the earth"... She would most likely have to flee quickly and either leave the eggs behind - they could have ended up with the other Artefakts the Dothtraki collect in their city; or sell them, leaving her - and presumably the whole world dragon-less.
@Mister3Pac
@Mister3Pac 6 лет назад
angel whispers the horselords would not stay for Rhaego. As Jorah says in both book and show that they would take Dany back to Vaes Dothrak and kill Rhaego as to have no trouble becoming Khal.

If Jon Arryn lived... In king's landing He might be as honorable as Ned Stark but he's been hand for years, I don't think he'd make the mistake of warning Cersei. Cersei and Jaime are executed. If not the children, then they are probably branded bastards and sent to casterly rock in shame. Either way, they are no longer a part of the story. If Cercei is killed, she cannot arrange the murder of Robert, the king lives as well. If he lives: - Stannis stays at King's Landing as master of ships - He doesn't go back to dragonstone and is not converted to the lord of light by melisandre, so he doesn't wage any war. - Renly stays in the small council as well. Doesn't marry margery and wage any war - Robert Arryn is sent to dargonstone - No more over protective mother - Since King Robert is still there, Barristan selmy is not fired from the kingsguard. - He still has many bastards, he might legitimize one as his new heir, or marry Margaery to secure the succession before Stannis or Renly can make their claims - Tyrion is never made hand of the king - Janos Slynt is not sent to the wall In Casterly Rock House Lannister is ashamed because of the scandal, but Tywin is not stupid, he knows he has no chance against the other kingdoms, unless he was to use his fortune to hire mercenary companies. I don't think he would rebel. - Either he brings Tyrion back to court to prepare him as his heir, or he marries again to have another son. - Tyrion either goes back to Casterly Rock or he spends the rest of his life drinking and whoring as he always did. In the north - Because Robert doesn't need a new hand, he never makes the trip to winterfell - Ned doesn't go to King's Landing - Bran never catches Jaime and Cersei, he's not a cripple - Benjen doesn't make the trip to winterfell for the feast, Jon is not convinced to join the watch right away. - Sansa is not bethroted to Joffrey, stays in Winterfell for a while - Arya gets to stay too - Without the incident on the Kingsroad, Lady and Nymeria are still with the stark girls - Ned doesn't die - The north doesn't rebel - Robb is not made King in the north - Robb doesn't send Theon back to Pyke - The Iron Islands stay quiet, no raids on the north - Winterfell is not sacked by Ramsay - With his family still around, it's unlikely that Bran would be allowed to follow his visions beyond the wall, he stays at winterfell At the wall - Samwell still goes to the wall, but without Jon already there, it's possible he wouldn't survive the harsh conditions, but let's say he still does, afterall the wall needs all the recruits they can get. - Jon is not there to save Mormont from the undead, but Mormont would have appointed someone else, so it's likely he would've still survived - The watch still ventures beyond the wall where they are still butchered at the fist - Jon doesn't infiltrate the wildlings - He never meets Ygritte - Because he doesn't go back to castle black to warn the watch about the wildlings on their side of the wall, the wildlings have the effect of surprise during the battle at castle black - The wildlings manage to open the gate and Mance's army come trough the wall UNLESS - Since Ned doesn't go to King's Landing, he receives the raven from castle black requesting help, raises his banners, all 18,000 men, goes to the wall and turn the tide of the battle instead of Stannis. - Most of the wildlings are killed - Jon decides to join the watch, but since he just got there, he's not elected Lord commander. Jonas Slynt is not there either, so Alliser Thorne is most likely the new Lord Commander - As the new lord commander, Alliser doesn't allow the remaining wildlings to pass trough the wall. They are eventually annihilated by the white walkers - With Ned still ruling the north, he might use his ressources to fortify the north with his own men instead of Jon who would have done it using wildlings The night's king is still coming, but the wall is actually stronger is this scenario Across the narrow sea - Everything stays the same until Daenerys' visit to Astapor. Because Robert is still king, Barristan Selmy doesn't seek Daenerys and doesn't save her from the Manticor. Daenerys dies - The merchants of Astapor seize the opportunity to take her dragons. They might be able to tame them, but it's more likely they would escape and live their lives in slaver's bay and the dothraki sea, terrorizing everyone - With no more queen to protect, Jorah Mormont accepts his pardon from Robert and goes back to bear Island to rule. He might even join Ned in the battle at the wall - Because of Daenerys' death, no conquering of Slaver's bay, no abolition of slavery, no invasion of westeros Did I miss something?

In my opinion Jon would have still gone to the Wall. He had no place in Winterfell even with Eddard tho, but I think it may have happened a year or two later. He prolly would have joined after Benjen Stark went missing to find his uncle, and maybe even Ned would want to go searching for him.

I know they would be called for Stannis but who would lead the vale troops. Sweet Robin is child deemed sickly, to weak. That's something to do a what if about. Who would lead the Vale to war if Ned were to live and Stannis was able to get both sides of his forces together. Would Renly lead them?? I don't think they would fallow an outsider, or would Black fish?? That's what I think about. You saw how they fought for the honor to Champion for the vale. I would like to know who would lead the army of the vale for Stannis.

I don't think that John Aryen would have gone to Cerise because at leased in the books the reason Ned went to Cerise was that he didn't want to see more dead children in the red keep. (After the sack of kings landing by the lannisters all the tagerian children were killed) and I also don't think that John Ayren is as much of a fool as Ned to think that Cersie would leave without a fight.
@user-hb2sq9my2w
@user-hb2sq9my2w 7 лет назад
Yeah, it kind of assumes that Jon Arryn sucks at the game of thrones as much as Ned, and by god is that a feat. Jon survived as Hand for much longer than Ned, so perhaps he knew how to handle the Lannisters with a little more tact. That or Littlefinger and the Lannisters were very patient.

It was Ser Loras Tyrell that convinced Renly to declare himself the true King of Westeros. Renly most likely wouldn't have declared himself king if Loras hadn't convinced him. In the scene in season 1 where Loras is shaving Renly, Renly told Loras that Stannis was still his older brother, prior to that Renly had no intention of taking the throne.

@willemverheij3412
@willemverheij3412 7 лет назад
I think Stannis and Renly would both make it out of king's landing. Renly made it out when Ned died, and I think John Arryn would have talked with them about it too if he lived longer. While Renly likely wouldnt declare himself king since Stannis would be backed by the Vale and the North, I do think he would feel alienated from his brother due to the lord of light stuff that Stannis would still get involved with. I do think that Stannis would be king, and I think that Tywin Lannister would avoid war. He would make peace once King's landing is captured and Cercei and Geoffrey are killed. Tyrion would likely be forced to join the night's watch, and Marcella and Tommen would probably be kept captive to use as leverage against Tywin, and get forced to officially renounce any rights to the throne. Jamie would likely be with Tywin at the Lannister army that would probably be busy defending their own lands. Tywin would make peace with Stannis and get Tommen and Marcella back, who would now be full heirs to the Lannister house and Jamie would be their father openly now. But one thing to not forget is, Lady Mellisandre and the lord of light. Stannis would cause a new civil war when trying to force the lord of light religion on the seven kingdoms. Ned would likely die when riding to King's Landing to try and talk sense into him, only to get killed for his faith which he would not renounce, being a man of honour. That would probably still cause Rob to go to war, but a bit later. Renly would declare himself king then since he would be against that forced conversion too, and Rob would rally behind him. I think that Stannis would raise forces across the narrow sea since the lord of light is more commonly worshipped there, so he would have some forces. Tyrells would likely still ally with Renly, and Dorne would stay out of it. It would probably either end with Stannis being dethroned, or being convinced by Mellisandre that the war in the north against the white walkers is more important right now, thus ending the war much earlier and allowing people to keep their old religions just to have the lands united against the white walkers. But due to littlefinger, war would have happened either way. He'd make sure of that.

Thanks to the Tully sisters, you will pretty much always have a North/Riverlands/Vale alliance. Ned Stark will always support the Baratheon claim to the throne so add them in, add the Tyrell's in because so long as Renly is alive there is no way in hell Loras will agree to fight against him, plus he is technically a Prince, a good match for Margery. Dorne will most likely sit any major conflict out, but on the small chance they join, you know they will automatically fight against the Lannisters. All in all, only in the most retarted circumstances do the Lannisters have any chance of surviving these kinds of scenarios. Goes to show a few things. They survived in the show thanks to a) the sheer genius and manipulation of Petry Baelish (plus some dumb luck) and b) the complete retardedness of certain alliance characters (Ned, Rob, Catelyn, Robert, Renly etc.)

Best case scenario Jon tells Robert who is upset and nearly kills the twins only to by placated by his advisers claiming that their deaths would cause a war with Tywin. So instead he strips Cersei and Jaime of their titles of queen and King's guard, has the children named bastards, and sends all the Lannisters home with their heads bowed in shame. In another scenario Robert who is incensed with anger has both Jaime and Cersei executed while having the children stripped of their surnames, named bastards, and have Joffrey and Tommen sent to the Wall. Tywin is obviously upset about all this and goes to war with Robert which well actually hurt the kingdom somewhat because of how much they are all in debt to the Lannisters. After loosing his heirs he would need some knew because he isn't so young anymore. He might just legitimize his bastard children, namely Gender, and have one of them become his heir.
@boullioncube389
@boullioncube389 7 лет назад
I think that Danny's conquest would have changed pretty drastically actually, along with her success at ruling in Slaver's Bay. If Verys pulls in work and interest even a bit, he wouldn't have been there to guide her. Sir Baristan might not have been banished and gone to her, AND Tyrian would probably not be there as well. Those three did a lot of work in terms of trying to keep the city under her control. so for all we know her power may have been reduced, or she could have given in to her more vicious side and burned the city to the ground, leaving her with nothing once again.

@TheBattProductions
@TheBattProductions 7 лет назад
hellz to the no. With Ned Stark around, the Boltons wouldn't have done that. Well, I suppose that depends on the state of the Northern armies. If they were about to lose to the Lannisters like Robb, it may not've mattered if it was Robb or Ned.

@TheBattProductions 7 лет назад
Woof. I fear for that dude's life :(
@markjrbessett6429
@markjrbessett6429 4 года назад
I know this is late, but I could see Ned stopping Robb before he does anything. I Could see Ned lecturing Robb reminding him what happened to his Uncle Brandon when he demanded justice and the war it caused and he would have sent Robb back to Winterfell. I also don't think Robb would have arrested Tyrion because after having that conversation with his father, he knew it would have caused a war and just went back to Winterfell as Ned told him, assuming if Littlefinger told them who the dagger belonged to. If Litterfinger didn't tell them than Robb definitely has no justified reason to arrest him. Either way, Tyrion isn't arrested, that means no trial at the Erie, Jaime has no reason to attack Ned nor leave the King's Landing, and Tywin wouldn't have any reason to go war with the Riverlands. Now, at this point, Ned MIGHT still leave like he said he was and head back to Winterfell thus ending his snooping and doesn't find out about the illegitimacy about Cersei's children. If Robert dies the and secret does get out and a war starts, things with the North might be different if Ned had gone back Winterfell. Ned would probably declare for Stannis and fight for him. Assuming if Renly didn't push for a claim, he would have also brought up the armies from the Storm Land's and possibly the Reach. Eventually, things will collapse on the Lannisters and Stannis will be on the throne. Also, knowing the numbers are stacking up against them, I think They'd keep Barristan in the Kingsguard to have as much protection as they can get, which means Daenerys probably dies from the Manticore effectively ending her storyline as well. So things are probably more peaceful in Westeros until the issue with the White Walkers comes into play. Keep in mind; this is what I think would have gone down. I know this is like a Disney type ending and super unrealistic. I know people might get me on that. More than likely Robert would have made Ned continue as the Hand and things would have played out similarly as it did, despite Tyrion not being arrested.

This was a good what if. Ild really like to see the vale and the north attacking the Lannisters. I think when Jon Arryn had a chance to tell people he would rely mostly on Stannis for support so he was the one who was rightfully suppose to be the king. So I think Stannis is more likely to take the throne in that scenario cause he would have organized himself against the Lannisters better.

Why would Jon have gone to the wall? When Jon asked benjen if he could go to the wall benjen said no and also benjen would never have gone to winterfell because the Robert would never have visited Ned at winterfell so Jon wouldn't have gone to the wall and that could be a lot worse for everyone depending on how fast stanis/renly could defeat the Lannisters and then go and help the nights watch.

btw the Jon Part about going to the wall; the "BASTARDS CANT ATEAND FEASTS PART" (by the baratheons and lannisters) and Benjen coming back to winterfell (by the baratheon and lannisters feast) were really why he went at that time. Imagine if he would of stayed? there would be no reason for benjen to return to winterfell - He would of "died" like he did, then no one would really 'escort' jon to the wall, And ned would of told him about his parents, and he'd probably stay, then in a year or a couple months he'd lose his shit on catleyn and spill so many "sweet juicy' beans.

Honestly, I think that Tyrion could just be sent to the Wall with the judgment "if he lives, the Wall gets an intelligent steward. If he dies, that's not our problem." Maybe it would be Maester Pycelle suggesting such an idea as a last ditch attempt to save a Lannister, even if said Lannister is the least valued. Also, what if Sansa manged to escape King's Landing while Arya was captured? Also also, what if Robbert Baratheon saw Jaime doing the horizontal tango with Cersei instead of Bran?
@Maiqu20
@Maiqu20 7 лет назад
I like this idea also when you were talking about what the Tyrells would get out of it I was just immediately thinking of a Robb and Margaery wedding or a Sansa/Willas wedding and both of those options are definitely good for me so I'd be down for it.. plus all my Starks AND their direwolves would be alive! Oh!! Since Ned is alive and Stannis might be king (if he's alive) they would have answered LC Mormont's ravens asking for help and maybe Ned would have gone up there and Jon would know who his mother was

TheBattProductions RIGHT???? I've always thought it would have been a great couple not just bc they are both gorgeous... but the Tyrellls have the largest army in Westeros, Margaery would still be queen and she was probably the best player in the game which is what Robb desperately needed... Hell even in the books Catelyn is like "If you had to fall into a woman’s arms, my son, why couldn’t they have been Margaery Tyrell’s? The wealth and power of Highgarden could have made all the difference in the fighting yet to come. And perhaps Grey Wind would have liked the smell of her as well."

There would be no dragons. Most people in the east would remain slaves. Aside from that everything in Westeros would remain unchanged. Lannister oppression would remain unceasing. Cersei's spies would have likely tracked and murdered Varys & Tyrion. They would have found Tyrion drunk in some eastern brothel. However, winter would still be coming. The Night King would still be stirring up north. No dragons to interfere with his invasion.

Why does everyone automatically assume Robert would have killed Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen? He'd probably take them as hostages like Ned did with Theon. The killing of Robert's bastards and the killing of Rhaegar's children were both seen as crossing a major red line, even in wartime.

What if Jon Arryn decided to send Robin to Dragonstone or Winterfell to be fostered? Either way, Robin would change for the better. Robin would be around family, his health would improve( less sweetsleep(poison) in his system), and probably a better person over time...

I doubt Jon Arryn would approach Cersei like Ned did, never mind the fact that Jon Arryn is most likely smarter then his foster son but remember he’s been around Cersei and the Lannisters at King’s Landing for 14/17 years (depending on if it’s the book or the show) so he’d no doubt know about their antics.

Ned Stark probably goes on the warpath . . . and he is a lot better commander than either his son or his nephew. House Stark and its allies win the War of the Five Kings. Stanins becomes king and (maybe) Ned Stark becomes Hand and has to make hard choices about Dani Stormborn and the White Walkers (with his nephew as an important adviser) while keeping his King going off the deep end with the Lord of Light and Mel. Ned Stark takes on Ser Davos's role (perhaps with Ser Davos as Master of Coin/"Assistant Hand."
@Benji23245
@Benji23245 3 года назад
Yeah, but you forgot something, since the White Walkers weren't known in this scenario, Dany would have attacked King's Landing with her entire army + 3 grown up Dragons, and I'm not sure if King's Landing would have had those Dragon killing giant crossbows to resist against them. Also, the White Walkers either wouldn't ever come (because they wouldn't have had Viserion to destroy the Wall), or they would come and kill everyone including the 3 dragons, because noone would have been united against them, nor knowledgeable on how to kill them. Nice what if none the less !

I'm not sure I agree with the idea that Jon Arryn would have warned Cersei like Ned did. True, Ned learned a great deal from Jon Arryn, but I always thought Ned's primary motivation for warning Cersei was primarily tied to his visceral horror at how Robert had responded to Rhaenys and Aegon's deaths, and to his feelings about Jon (Snow). Jon Arryn wouldn't have had either of those things weighing on his mind, and he'd also been in KL a great deal longer than Ned had. And he was from the Vale. Ned had been constantly complaining that he didn't belong in KL. He belonged in Winterfell, where people were honest and things were nice and black and white and most people were too busy fighting against winter to scheme against each other. Jon Arryn had a totally different upbringing, totally different experiences, and DIDN'T have the experiences Ned had (or a massive leg wound likely interfering with his judgment)... I really don't think he would have done the same thing. He actually probably would have gone straight to Robert.

pretty sure robin was with his mom and dad in kings landing so he would have been taken hostage as well so odds are the vale cant make a move without puting the heir to the vale in danger the north wouldnt hesitate though if they found out the reasoning behind jon and roberts deaths if the lanisters knew stanis was involved in the information hed have been killed likely alongside jon however i imagine after robert dies he would dip just like renly did so the mannis would live and would have support from the north and very likely the riverlands, odds are the tyrells would have margery marry renly with the plans to have stanis killed after the war since renly would technically be next in line, though if thats not the plan they go for they likely stay neutral for the time being, dorne would absolutely see a chance to fuck up lanisters since 3 of the 7 kingdoms are going after the lanisters while 2 others are staying neutral (unless the vale is willing to take a risk with the robin and lysa being hostages in which case its 4 kingdoms going after the lanisters and 1 neutral.) with only the crownlands backing the westerlands its kinda 1 sided since the stormland in the show was able to muster around 40 thousand troops under renly 10 thousand from dragon stone and another 20 thousand from the north plus whatever the riverlands (and possibly the vale) throw in and they heavily outnumber the lanisters, once dorne throws in with the rebellion theres no reason why the tyrells would stay out of it since its clear whose winning. littlefingers plans are fucked, varys might just have to say fuck it this works, since the 7 kingdoms have a king thats actually liked by the people who isnt going to bankrupt the kingdom further (either renly or stanis would be liked for different reasons but renly deffinetly will probably be more liked since he also has the noble houses on his side) with everyone unified theres not much of a reason to work with dany since everyones happy and his main interests are the good of the realm so yeah he probably holds back on the targarien restoration

Robert goes into a rage. Cersei is desperately defensive, and finally asks for a trial by combat, as does Jaime. By all the laws of the realm, he has t let them have a trial, especially with no witnesses or tangible confession. Jaime fights in his own trial against Ser Barristan, who fights for Robert. I think jaime would have barely tied against prime barristan but kills old Barristan. In Cersei’s trial she selects Gregor Clegane, and i think he would fight against Oberyn or Greatjon. there’s few left in the seven kingdoms who’d have the gall to challenge Gregor. if its Oberyn then things play out the same as their original fight, and Oberyn gets his head smashed. The Lannister twins are declared innocent in the eyes of the gods but Robert would obviously disinherit all of his kids and divorce Cersei so they go back to the Rock and Stannis is heir presumptive until Robert has a trueborn heir. I think he would marry Margaery at Renly’s advice. if there is a half tyrell half baratheon baby boy, then they would inherit the iron throne. There would still be fighting (Widllings, White Walkers). but the Tyrells are more or less in control of the continent and back their baby boy all the way. Dany would be dead by assassins.

I don’t think Jon Snow would’ve ended up at the wall in this scenario. There were a lot of tipping point feelings around King Robert’s visit to Winterfeld that would not have arisen for Jon. I think, in the very least, Jon Snow would not have made that decision with the same timing. A delay would have meant Sam Tarly would’ve arrived before Jon and most likely have already been ostracized and killed.

The Stark's, Tully's, Baratheon's & Knights of the Vale joining forces is pretty much guaranteed, given their history during Robert's Rebellion (and Stark/Tully marriage alliance). Also potential Bran/Shireen marriage alliance? At this point, House Tyrell would side with Stark/Baratheon/Tully/Arryn possibly through a Sansa/Loras, Robb/Margery, or most likely Renly/Margery marriage. This leaves House Martell, who I assume would also join the war if they saw the demise of House Lannister was imminent, but they would still keep their secret allegiance to Dany. Theon wouldn't go back to Pyke, as Ned would never allow it, Robb would most likely stay behind as acting Lord of Winterfell with Ned commanding the Northern Forces. This means he wouldn't make the same mistakes as Robb did, so there would be no beheading of Rickard Karstark or betrayal of house Bolton & Frey. No Red Wedding means pretty much every prominent Northern Lord would still be alive as well as ALL 6 Direwolves (super yay). So we have a full strength Lannister Army vs. the combined forces of The North, The Vale, The Riverlands, The Reach & The Stormlands (and possibly Dorne). TLDR; RIP House Lannister

Jon Arryn became good friends with Lord Rickard Stark (Ned's father) and Steffon Baratheon (Robert's father) during The War of The Nine Penny Kings/The Fifth Blackfyre Rebellion (a war where The Targaryens sent their army to invade sovereign islands held by Maelys Blackfyre and The Golden Company at the time). Fun Fact: They never mention it in the show but in the books, it's mentioned that Rickard Stark was looking to branch out of The North and make alliances with other Great Houses like House Arryn of The Vale and House Tully of The Riverlands and even House Baratheon of The Stormlands. Rickard's ambitions indirectly led to the alliance that took down The Mad King during Robert's Rebellion.
